Uri Geller tells PM: 'I am going to stop Brexit telepathically'

Illusionist Uri Geller has vowed to "telepathically" stop Brexit in an open letter addressed to Theresa May.

The TV personality said he "admired" the prime minister but felt "physically and very strongly" that most Britons were against the UK's withdrawal from the EU.

He wrote: "I feel psychically and very strongly that most British people do not want Brexit.

"I love you very much but I will not allow you to lead Britain into Brexit.

"As much as I admire you, I will stop you telepathically from doing this - and believe me I am capable of executing it."

Geller appealed to Mrs May to stop the Brexit process before he takes a "drastic course of action".

He also claimed that his power has been "validated" by the CIA, MI5 and Israel's intelligence agency Mossad.

.

Geller has the James,Randi stamp of approval

I haven't watched the clip yet but in his autobiography he says he 'gave Hitler the finger and he still has it' :)

Met him at a convention once in NYC. He was just sitting there at a card table and I got to chat with him a couple of minutes and get an autograph. Nice, sweet man, absolutely unpretentious. Glad I had the chance.

An alligator is swimming in a Texas lake with a knife in its head

A Texas woman who took a photo of a live alligator with a knife in its head said she and her neighbors are concerned about the animal's well-being.

The gator was spotted in the Orchard Lakes Estates, Houston ABC station KTRK reported.

"I feel like somebody did this on purpose," said Erin Weaver, who took the photo of the animal.
The photo of the alligator with the knife in its head had been circulating on social media, and neighbors who saw it wanted to help.

"I don't want to see an alligator swimming around with a knife in his head and suffering," Weaver added.

According to Weaver, a Texas Parks and Wildlife game warden is expected to evaluate the alligator on Monday.

Brazos Bend State Park Attendant Chris Bishop told KRTK the gator isn't in pain and could live with the knife in its head for some time.

Weaver, who has been living in the community for six years, told KRTK she sees alligators "almost every morning."

"Never have I seen them aggressive or even defensive," she added. "If you walk by and startle them, they just go under water."

I don't belong to FB so the video isn't available to me. I gotta ask though....

How the hell does he know if the gator is feeling any pain and why are they waiting until Monday to "evaluate" the gator?

The police appear to have been negligent in not identifying the "John Doe" through fingerprints.

It's kind of interesting I've never been in the part of the river, there are parts that are dry but to go running in it? Considering he was flat out busted I think he might have done himself in (those are those kind of escapades that once your busted in get about having no life anymore.
