The Phenomenon-UFOs?

Sheltie

Fratty and out of touch.
Jim Sparks claims the Nordics and Reptilians have been fighting an on-again off-again war for centuries. I don't know how he feels about clones but he claims both sides are able to alter their appearances and look like each other. As an abductee he claims that we never really know who we are dealing with since shape shifting of some sort is a common practice among aliens.

I don't disagree with the connotation you have pointed out. But my claim is that the most prominent promoters of "UAP" do not mean it in that way. For them, it's an attempt (as feeble as it may be) to be more rigorous and objective. (See NARCAP's explanation above.)

An amusing point relevant to this topic is that those who employ "UAP" often have to define it for their audiences as "UFO," thus rendering the innovation futile.
It gets them in the door (or on TV shows) so it's not entirely futile. If you use the term UFO in the first few minutes of a conversation, you're usually dead in the water. With UAP people will keep listening long enough for you to make your case.

But I prefer the recent AAV term via the AATIP: "anomalous aerial vehicle." Because it's the vehicles that interest us. Other stuff is going on the sky, mostly natural or misidentified stuff, but that's not why we're here talking about it - that other stuff is mundane and mostly insignificant.

Forgive me if I sound like a dick on any level, I've got an abscessed tooth it's driving me to literal tears. I'm gonna have to go to the emergency room., Oh my god why does pain reach these kinds of thresholds...
You need antibiotics G. When you feel tooth pain, that's because it's infected. The pain dies down really fast once you take antibiotics. Most dentists will call in a prescription to the drug store when you really need it. And you need to clear up the infection before they can work on it anyway.

Still there is so much evidence that we really don't belong here when you compare us to all the other life here.
What evidence? Everything I've seen fits the Darwinian model perfectly. To me it looks like we're from here, and evolved here, with no detectable alterations along the way.

A lot of people in ufology and ufo community seem to be very sure of what it is... including some debunkers.

Im not among them. It remains open to me, though some possibilities are more probable than others. Only thing i know is that it exists and that its strange. Anything beyond that is speculation.
I would think that all kinds of things are going on in the sky from time to time; everything from exotic natural processes to a dizzying variety of technological intrusions by advanced civilizations (many of which may not even be identifiable as technology).

As I see it, we're not capable of imagining what technology might look like thousands of years, or millions of years, ahead of where we are today. And astrophysics is telling us that most Earth-like worlds are billions of years ahead of us. So I reckon that if any of those civilizations survive that long, then they're going to seem like supernatural beings to us, if we can even sense their presence at all.

I leave the door unlocked for other freaky possibilities to enter the picture, like alternate realities. But I see zero empirical evidence for such things, so until that changes I keep that door closed.

I suppose What I'm calling evidence, Is really just speculation, in this instance lol :p

hell even ETH has many more possibilities than just "other civilizations visiting us" we could be dealing with A.I, some very exotic like form like a mind parasite or even something even weirder
