All last week we had temps in the mid 90s and no rain but this week temps are back in the mid to low 80s...There's a forecast of rain for five days, this is the second of those five days and no rain here at home...It's rained around in other counties but not here, I've been watering my garden from my well...

Currently there's storms all around my area but not a drop of rain in this county, so I gave the watermelon patch a good watering before dark and gave them more space too, 30 square feet more room to grow...

Hot & Humid, makes it to be around 110f here, next week we get a cool down into the 90`s. My rose of sharons are all still alive that planted near my outside a/c unit, i also built a shade for it, in hopes the heat wont be so hard on the parts.

High nineties, intense humidity, incessant rain. Never been to the wilds of Borneo but imagine it like this.

We could use some rain, twice now a nice storm heads directly for me and breaks up literally a few miles from my area...It's been pleasant lately though, mid to high 80s during the day with the warmest hours around 1500 to 1700 and the evening dip down into the mid 60s...No rain though, would be nice to get at least one rain shower within the next few days...

'Prepare for the Worst': Dangerous Heat Wave Continues Across Parts of South and Midwest
(CBN) – Forecasters are warning about the second day of scorching, dangerous heat which will stretch across the South and the Midwest, where the heat index on Monday climbed as high as 120 degrees in one town. Parts of 13 states are under heat advisories from Texas, Louisiana and Florida in the South to Missouri and Illinois in the Midwest, the National Weather Service reported. “It feels like hell is what it feels like,” said Junae Brooks, who runs Junae’s Grocery in Holly Bluff, Mississippi. Around her, many of her

customers kept cool with wet rags around their necks or by wearing straw hats. Some of the most oppressive conditions were in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Oklahoma. The heat index soared to 121 degrees (49.4 Celsius) by late afternoon in Clarksdale, Mississippi; and to 119 degrees (48.3 Celsius) in West Memphis, Arkansas, the weather service reported. Similar readings were expected in eastern Oklahoma. In Alabama, the temperature hit 100 degrees with a heat index of 106 degrees by mid-afternoon in Birmingham, the state’s largest city. READ MORE
