Reincarnation

There may be 10,000 Nivek's in the multiverse or more, but each is a different soul.

I was referring to a circumstance not related to a possible multiverse as you mentioned, I do not think a multiverse exists in that way...If there are multiverses they would be subject to their own development and evolution and not contingent upon other universes to guide their development...

once you free yourself from this reincarnation cycle, there are other places to go, other things to do.

Yes indeed there are other things to do, there is no ceiling, attachments in these lives keep individuals in various cycles which in time they forget who they really are and forget where they are at...

Yes well I heard that question asked where are all the extra souls coming from so I thought if your correct and this place is a popular destination for them then why hasn't it gone the other way surely there are many reasons not to come here . Given the choice how many people today would want to come back to the Earth as a reincarnate ?

I don't know about 'extra' souls, kind of a strange usage of the word in relation to the soul, but in relation to physical bodies and the ever growing population of people, I'm not so sure there's a soul for every 'bag of water'...

I know an elderly gentleman who I consider an experienced spiritual traveler. He told me that he helped “harvest” new souls waiting for a body to inhabit. This took place on another spiritual plane of existence. There is a sea of souls, so to speak, just waiting for a body. My take is that souls keep coming back to this world repeatedly because we need to learn life’s hard lessons and this place is the perfect training ground to do that.

Considering that many believe we have had thousands of reincarnations, we have a lot of lessons to learn and it doesn’t happen in one lifetime.

Perhaps for some, but I would suggest that when in passing do not enter the light, as we have heard people stating they saw when in an out of body experience...The light is not back to the source of anything, entering into 'the light' will instead keep one in an endless loop of existence here in this reality...One must remember to remember yourself in passing, death comes to all, do you want to be 'asleep' during that transition or 'awake'?...

Reincarnation is more and more on my mind lately. I suppose because, I'm 40 years old and am now faced with the reality that karma is very real. I haven't lived a bad life by any means, but I haven't lived a particularly good one either. I have made some bad decisions and missed opportunities to make good decisions that I have to carry with me every day; can't put the toothpaste back in the tube.

Probably the worst part is, the growing feeling that I don't function well here on planet Earth in the year 2019 even though I live in the most prosperous nation in the world. My mind is wired differently than everyone else's. I care about things that others don't, and don't care about things that others do. It is very hard for me to form attachments to other people, even those who want to form close attachments with me. I have gotten to the point of thinking, "what is the use, they are just going to think I am weird and strange." In fact, forming relationships with others is such a daunting task I don't even try to do it. I interact with people when I need to do it for a particular purpose, otherwise no need to do so.

I have always felt like I do not have a literal or figurative place of belonging on this planet, and the circumstances of my life reflect that. My parents moved around alot when I was a kid so I never really had a family home or hometown, this only increased after they divorced. My wife and I are on our third address since we got married in 2011, and I'm sure we will add to that list. I have had a variety of jobs and different career tracks too, and it's looking like my current job is leading to another dead end even though it is the best one I have ever had and I really would love to stay there for decades to come. Now, I know that millions of people live life under these circumstances and I'm not a charity case by any means. What I am trying to say is, I feel empty and out of place in every area of my life and this feeling increases as I get older. My natural thoughts, inclinations, and desires always go against everyone else's.

So, this is why I am thinking about reincarnation so much nowadays. It is a hopeful and exciting possibility that I could be reborn into this world or another one, and get a new chance to live a good life. Perhaps I could make better choices, and maybe my mind would be more in tune with the next world I am born into. Understand that I am not suicidal or trying to gain undeserved sympathy, I know there are billions of people who live a worse life than I do. I just can't help the fact that I feel completely out of place here, and see no chance of that improving in this lifetime. The chorus from "Heathaze" by Genesis sums it up nicely, this is what I feel like 24/7/365:

The trees and I are shaken by
The same winds, but whereas
The trees will lose their withered leaves
I just can't seem to let them loose
And they can't refresh me
Those hot winds of the south
Oh I feel like an alien
A stranger, in an alien place

for a good description of what happens when you actually split your consciousness, read a book called astral dynamics by robert bruce
he tells of 2 sensory inputs at the same time,
sort of like what happens when you remote view something

Some beginning forms of conscious work requires this in order to observe oneself whilst one is involved in ordinary dealings in life, as the tendency is to forget oneself...When traveling there's a fine connection back to the physical body, a trickle of awareness back...

I take it you have personal experience, Nivek?
I assume he probably does, It seems like I have seen Nivek speaking about meditation for years now.

Coupled with the observation, I've never witnessed the man ever once lose his cool. " Which I find admirable"
I would assume he does truly.

A wise man once said something to the effect; 'the question is not whether life exists after death, the real question is whether you are alive before death'...To experience life one must first 'Be' alive...

Nivek, I would love read your beliefs on reincarnation some time if you should write about them. Or if you already have, please point me in that direction.

The post I wrote above yours, which I assume you are commenting in regards to, is not describing work related to reincarnation nor referencing reincarnation, but is lightly touching on other real work to which I have experienced first hand...

I am sure I have written a few posts concerning reincarnation in this thread, but for me past lives are irrelevant and have nothing to do with real conscious work in this life or in this moment but not all who come into this world are caught into nor a part of the cycles of reincarnation or reoccurance..Those that are, there is only one way out of it, waking the master, which is a double edged sword to those 'I' within, they don't stand a chance once the master awakens...If they knew that going in they would not do the work necessary, and many opt out at different 'stages' of that work once that realization sets in...Many prefer to live in the conditionings and imaginations of this world and wish to leave the master to sleep, with the thinking things are just fine 'as they are'...Such a fine mess...

My experience is that what you're attracted towards has a correlation to past lives, and that your innate skills are correlated through those previous pathways. You cannot know why you have this life without defeating the purpose of being here, consequently you're prevented from full understanding in the hear and now.

By the end of a life if the individual doesn't awaken to itself, and in the next life the same conclusion occurs, and the next and the next, if the individual doesn't awaken to itself over the course of many many lives, could that consciousness continue on and on and on?...What if with each passing incarnation we loose a piece of ourselves, what if it's never a clean break, so to speak, we leave a piece behind, and on and on continuing to loose pieces, wouldn't one start to wither away over so many incarnations?...

Could one gain some of this lost 'energy', for the sake of discussion?...Perhaps we get some back from others we encounter in our various incarnations, or in an incarnation one awakens just a little, enough to gain back enough energy to continue on, not awaken enough to break free from the cycle but to gain back enough energy to continue on...

Maybe these psychic vampire types steal energy from others because they are nearing the end of their reincarnation cycle because of a lack of energy, withering away so subconscious instinct for survival kicks in and they steal energy from others to survive and have enough energy to make it through another reincarnation...

Fratty and out of touch.
A lot of people believe that we knowingly choose to continue our reincarnation cycle after each death. There are also those who believe we go through the cycle in groups, i.e. with friends and relatives.

Maybe I'm lazy, but I don't want to reincarnated unless I am going to do a better job in the next life. If I can't remember my previous life I'm probably just going to make the same mistakes.
