Noticed that all the young men in the craft beer fancy-foodie place we were in last night all had luxuriant hair and beards. Well coiffed - obviously Dapper Dan men. They were all also a bit pudgy, had the same Clark Kent glasses on and all had weird plastic buttons in their ears. Must be getting old.

Also noticed the gentrification of the area - if you could apply that term to anything Poughkeepsie, NY.
Makes for a weird and mix and vibe.

The pierogis and brats were good. Don't need fruit or flowery smells in my beer though ....

Pop rivets are some useful things, a while back the buckle on the back of my flat top khaki hat broke, so i pop riveted the damn thing. Now some work pants that had an elastic waistband got messed up so after an hour of trying to thread a darn needle, i punched a hole and pop riveted them.lol You might be a redneck if you use pop rivets instead of a needle and thread.

Sitting outside behind my workshop overlooking the forest at the moment with candlelight beside me, its a nice cooler evening at 2200 hrs and all kinds of loud insect noise through the trees, the rain earlier must have brought it on lol...The insect noise is quiet a bit louder than normally, kobi is sitting in the grass in front of me his eyes looking into the woods for any movement...He's good about not running after something spontaneously, he will wait for me to tell him to go or not and he knows never at night...Never know there could be a pack of coyotes waiting for him in the dark or he might get lost in the dark, nah forget the latter, I don't think that dog could get lost, he's got one hell of a nose lol...

Perhaps those weird plastic buttons in the ears were their Bluetooth devices?? Maybe it wasn’t old age but more about self importance?

Also for storing some equipment in case of an emp (man or natural caused) and because 5G is coming...
