Alien Prediction (potentialy) Coming True

Dejan Corovic

As above, so bellow
There might be a reason why aliens don't want to socialize with us. It might be because we are unaware that we are doomed.

Thomas and myself frequently talked about Milky Ways galactical habitable zone. Simply put, inner 1/3 of the galaxy is full of exploding supernovae that continuously keep that zone sterile of life. Outer 2/3 of the galaxy spread out and supernovae became rearer so life is more frequent and has more time to evolve.

Earth is right on the edge of that galactic habitable zone. So far we've been lucky, biomass of some very old trees shows that in last few thousand years there had been two or three supernovae in our neighborhood, but nothing sterilising.

Unfortunately, 8,000 light years away there is a very large and traumatized star Wolf-Rayet WR 104, whose pole is pointing streight towards us. That one is going to go boom in next few hundred thousand years and we shall be looking straight down it's Gama ray beam. Actually, because of errors in estimate, it's more accurate to say that it can go off at any moment. Even within next 100 years. That explosion will deplete whole ozon layer, which will in turn kill most of plants and many animals and humans. Ozone layer protects us from UV and cosmic radiation.

Now, many of abductees said that aliens were warning them about a catastrophic astronomical event that will doom Earth civilization. Aliens usually described it as a very bright light in the sky, not as collision with comet. This Wolf-Rayet WR 104 might be what they were talking about:

As Above So Below
There's some research that says otherwise, that this star poses no threat to earth...This report is from 2009 so it may be basing it's conclusions from incomplete information?...Do we know more about this star system than we did 10 years ago?...

WR 104 Won’t Kill Us After All

Spectroscopic emission lines from the binary pair strongly suggest the system is in fact inclined 30°-40° (possibly as much as 45°) away from us.

if they will not talk with us because they don't want to talk to the doomed, then they are week and fragile.
an opposed point of view: I have no issue making friends with someone dying of some terminal illness, they likely needs friends more than anyone.

Fratty and out of touch.

Nivek to the rescue! :clapping:

I just saw something on the Science Channel about life on other planets. Some scientists estimate there are at least 11 billion stars in our galaxy similar to our sun that have Earths or super Earths in the Goldilocks zone. Combine that with the many planets that may be orbiting Red Dwarfs, which are almost impossible to detect, even with sophisticated telescopes. There could even be intelligent life that has found a way to survive on the many rogue planets which do not orbit stars. It's mind boggling how much intelligent life could potentially exist in the Milky Way.

When asked why we're not being contacted or visited, Michio Kaku theorized that the aliens may fear the damage that could occur to our planet if any of their technology leaked through to us. If we were to gain a disintegrator ray or a teleportation device, for instance, it could lead to the destruction of the Earth. In extreme cases it could even enable us to threaten planetary neighbors.
