As Above So Below
Fringe is an American science fiction television series created by J. J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman, and Roberto Orci. It premiered on the Fox network on September 9, 2008, and concluded on January 18, 2013, after five seasons and 100 episodes. The series follows Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv), Peter Bishop (Joshua Jackson), and Walter Bishop (John Noble), all members of the fictional Fringe Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, based in Boston, Massachusetts, under the supervision of Homeland Security. The team uses fringe science and FBI investigative techniques to investigate a series of unexplained, often ghastly occurrences, which are related to mysteries surrounding a parallel universe.

This was a great series overall, the one season which dealt with the future was a bit strange and seemed to take it off the path of the rest of the series, maybe not, just my observation...

I like this episode below, season 4 episode 6, when strange time anomalies occur because of something a man built in his basement...

Who invented Amber 31422?...
Amber is an advanced substance that starts as a gas and hardens into a solid, mineral-like substance similar in characteristic, color, hardness and translucency to naturally occurring amber, which is typically a fossilized and mineralized version of ancient tree sap.

Amber is used to isolate and protect quarantined regions in the Alternate Universe, where it is prominently found, but it has been used and seen in the Prime Universe as well. Any person trapped in amber is not killed but placed in a state of suspended animation. Due to the hysteria that this knowledge would cause, it is not well-known, and as far as the general public is concerned, loved ones trapped in amber were killed.

Maybe it acts similar to the chambers made of a special crystal that expands into the dimension of time. I heard 30,000 years can pass outside of it while only 30 minutes pass inside. As a side note Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver and there's a 30 Rockefeller Center.
Bible Gateway passage: Matthew 26:15 - New International Version
Matthew 26:15 New International Version (NIV)

I was not on board with season 5 either. In it they jumped to the future and fought a guerrilla war against the observers. The whole idea seemed silly to me. Also it was weird that Olivia suddenly had an adult daughter who was only about 10 years younger than her!

Anna Torv said in an interview that when the writers first told her they were going to introduce a parallel universe storyline, she assumed there would be many other universes instead of just one. That probably would have been a little more in line with what most theoretical physicists believe but it would have become confusing as well.

I also thought it was kind of ridiculous that Peter was such a brilliant genius yet it took him forever to figure out that Fauxlivia had secretly switched places with Olivia at the end of season 2. Didn't it seem strange to him that stoic, unflappable Olivia had suddenly turned into a red hot sex kitten, throwing herself on him like a wild animal in heat?

The ep where he finally put it all together and caught her in the train station contained one of my favorite scenes:

Here's a good episode about the Observers, one in particular named August...

Andrew Basiago claims he was in a time travel program as a kid in the 70's. He said he and his father met two men from mars. He claims they looked like Telly Savalas which strongly resembles the Observers.
Andrew D. Basiago
I suspect the sucker is depicting mars.

Wasn't it in season five the Observer called November grew hair on his head?...

It was September. I think the other observers punished him by turning him into a human. He was actually the one who interfered with the timeline of the other universe by distracting the other Walter. Because he distracted "Walternate" at a critical moment, he prevented him from finding a cure for the other Peter, thus setting the entire parallel universe conflict
into motion.

Thanks for that, I never really followed that last season well enough to understand how he became human...The last season was a bit like stepping into a parallel world (no pun intended), I was discombobulated watching it lol...

I loved Lost and Fringe. I wish JJ Abrams would do something along those lines again for television but I think most networks nowadays are scared away by the big budgets.

I played Star Trek: TNG Dark Mirror and there's a hum in the background as if the sound of the ship. It makes it harder to hear John's voice.

now that I think about it , I remember that hum, I listened to that one back in September while we still had some warm weather. I was out jogging while I was taking that one in, What it is, The hum was edited in there, in an attempt to fool the copyright strike system. the real audiobooks that The stars actually record wouldn't have that.

it was a poor attempt by a novice editor at trying to fool the automated copyright system, it did hurt the final product sadly.
