Actually a whole lot of media sites are doing this now. It's a method they use to ensure they get their ad revenue from every visit. Of course, we all know this. But, There was a time, In the past, if someone didn't want to see ads, they could just change the channel. Now, in today's world, Very few things are free. People are forced to purchase content, And truly it is a purchase, a transaction If one can not see the content without viewing the ads. Then the content isn't really free.Yep got this on my home laptop, they can keep their shyte then, so many news sites are doing this now, pathetic...

Today was a fairly easy day at work, even got out a couple hours early this afternoon so I drove into town and got some supplies earlier than planned...Last night's temps were around 30 degrees, it was 31 degrees when I drove to work at 0730 this morning...The next three nights are forecast to be around 28-30 degrees so I needed to get some more propane for heat...For the house I can run the heat pump or save on the electric bill and burn propane on the really cold nights, the workshop heats solely via propane currently...I wish I had a wood stove, I really like wood heat, but propane heat is very similar to wood heat IMO, its my second choice...

Where do you see storage capacity going in the next five years? Will it reach a petabyte?I bought a 1TB SSD hard drive from a guy at work a couple weeks ago, when I did I watched him format it from a Apple file system to NTFS Windows file system, 940gigs available out of 1TB, all was good, paid him and shelved it...Took it off the shelf today for the first time since buying it, plugged it into my laptop and it said the available space was only 111 gigs!...Yikes!
I open Windows disc management and it shows its only an 111GB drive, wtf...I reboot my laptop and boot into G-parted which is an open source Linux based partition software I have handy on a thumb drive, it tells me there's a 111 gig partition on that SSD and the rest is unallocated...Well Windows should have spotted that, so I set all new partition tables on that SSD and reboot back into Windows...Wallah!, now it shows a total of 940 gigs available out of 1TB as it should...
Now it's being used as backup storage for my home server, it's been running for over an hour now copying everything, mostly entertainment, movies, music lol...
