Area 51 - Sneak Peak @ Tikaboo Peak

No...never been there......I'd rather go to Frenchmans Flat about 15 miles from Area 51. Actually I've never been to Nevada.....it was my father that was there in the Air Force. He was at Tonapah.
OK, interesting. Can't imagine that. I would have to go there, we have no area 51 here in OZ, well we have Pine Gap which is our best I suppose, and when I was a kid I hitched to as close as you can get to that. Went and had a look at he Omega antennas that helped the submarine things decades ago. I don't think I could go to the US and not at least do the Roswell stop. lol. Bloody Aussie tourists. Whats Frenchmans flat?

If I get to New Mexico I'd try and at least pass through Roswell....even though I don't think it was an ETV.

Frenchmans Flat is the former nuclear test range 15 miles to the southwest of Area 51. Its one of the reasons why people that worked there got sick or likely had a higher rate of cancer.

Why do you call them idiots ? They havent done the typical shit "normal" ppl do everyday without thinking ..

@Castle-Yankee54 Isnt it nutcase warning on wanting to go to a nuclear testing site, where people have fallen ill from nuclear elements present ?

No....not really if you've worked at nuclear reactors and have your radiation worker training. The people that worked at Area 51 that got sick were likely there for years. If you remember environmental practices in the 1960s and 1970s were not very good....with that and all the near by weapons testing working there would be dangerous. I'd suggest doing some research on the "downwinders"

I'd only be at Frenchmans Flats for a couple hours with radiation dose alarm meters.....and besides the guided tours are free. You can also get tours around Prypiat if you are so inclined.

Its also quite popular to visit Bikini Atoll to scuba dive the nuclear fleet and also the Castle-Bravo and Castle-Yankee craters.

I didnt know you were so into nuclear technology, I thought your line of work was geology related.. But then again Uranium comes from ore in the ground ☺

I have read some avout the US uranium preparation plants and the downwind..

Breader reactors ftw

what?? are they (in your opinion) filming satellites?= yes or no??

If you believe they are filming anything other than satellites then imo you're an idiot as well

Mate. How can I know what those specks of light were ? But just for the fun of it I will say No.
So you can label me,, hahaha

I am a geologist that has worked at nuclear reactor decommissioning projects. I've also collected radioactive minerals.....and researched the nuclear and thermonuclear weapons testing as well.

Thats awesome and sounds quite interesting.
You're clearly not a 'n case' for wanting to go there and explore..

I'd say no to that question......looks like commercial aircraft.

They sure don't look like they spend much time in hiking at higher altitudes even though they are small peaks. I hope they paid the poor bastard carrying all the camera gear well. Personally I wouldn't call the idiots.....but that woman was rather useless in this case.

Probably not the right place to ask this one, but here goes anyway. I am pretty crappy at Math, basic uni level and then I am lost. So I have been crook as hell here for 2 days now, thought I was going to die. I'm on the mend now I hope. But no sleep gives one time to think.
So here is my question if I can explain it.
In the theory that says there are an infinite number of outcomes to every event. One where i an not crook tonight, one where i still have long hair etc. Hypothetically If you were to put a restriction on this. And say that the structure of this universe we live in now. And all the other universes that contain different decisions by me are structurally identical. IE: in all the possible universes the sun is 92 million miles from earth. But we still have multiple timelines.
Would the idea that each physical universe is the same, only the life forces change, prevent mathematically there being infinite outcomes. Or would my restriction prevent it.

I've been through Nevada and New Mexico a few times in the past, haven't stopped at area 51 nor Roswell before...

I stepped into New Mexico at the four corners monument.....but I have other priorities in the state. I'd not avoid Roswell but unless its on my way I'm not sure if I'd go there. I'd like to see a few places in Nevada....but driving 15 miles down a dirt road to stand in front of a lethal force sign is not important. Standing next to one of those signs is over rated.

I haven't been the the four corners either, like you said, I also had other priorities when I traveled through those States...I haven't been out west since 2001 though...

There still might be those dimensions where life does not exist due to some celestial event.
