How is The Coronavirus affecting your life?

This is my seventh day of self-imposed isolation and with 252 people dying in the US yesterday because of the virus, it seems this thing is still spreading relentlessly which we all expected...Nothing short of a total Nationwide lockdown that's going to stop this thing anytime soon, IMO...

I am working from home with a bad headache, because all shops had been cleaned off Paracetamol which is the main pain killer brand here in UK. Before box of Paracetamol cost about £1.5 in a store, now it's £5.5 + P&P on eBay.
Are you able to get Weed? I know you may have reservations about it. It does help with pain, a lot bro.

I have a new Dog

I'm glad your new dog found you. They have a way of doing that that's almost paranormal.

We had a German Shepherd pup for a while that was like a beaver. Ate literally everything, chairs, table legs, a shovel. Chewed up my wife's arms, the damned cat - everything. Wasn't even a nice dog, a real stone cold bastard, that one. Fortunately he was only passing through and hopefully has moved on to a police department, maybe the Navy SEALS ....

We crate trained our running-pig-dog and limited her access to anything until she grew out of it, and that was gradual. Now she's totally fine with her chew toys. The two tomcats sometimes appear on her 'maybe I can chew that' list but some things you have to let work out for themselves.

Ice storm two days ago. Today almost 60 in the afternoon. Headed to Vanderbilt's, the grounds are still open.

Thank you brother, :D It does seem almost paranormal, I was literally looking up from Gitchis Maree's grave and she was there.

In my heart, I feel she is sent to me, Even though, that may not make sense. :)

Hey guys, I promised to keep everyone updated on my Dad, He had his test this morning, He has the Flu type B it's the bad kind of flu, But It's just the Flu. I've never been so happy to hear that my dad had the Flu!!

:D

I have news of my friend being back home and now isolating with her husband who is now showing signs of it. She says it isn't too bad but knowing what we know on here she probably only had a nip of it. I think that is a big point to remember, it seems to me that minimising contact on all fronts will bring on a greater chance of us all having a touch of it at some point.

Very pleased for you and your Father.

Thank you brother, It's been a nightmare lately, Also, You should inform her, Most people to get coronavirus seem to have mild symptoms, and some have no symptoms, But in some cases, You can have very mild symptoms and it seems to go away then it comes back worse like an incubation period.

I thought I was handling my nerves and panic pretty well, until yesterday, It seems I can't cheat nature. If I don't express it one way, It seems to come out in other ways.

Truly, I don't want it to sound like I'm whining or complaining cause I know we are all going through this. But I'm not handling the stress of it very well at all :(

Some handle things differently is all.

I'm good with the big concerns and fuss over the detail luckily. A resignation I guess, out of grasp so I stop reaching. Never easy clutching something as fluid as this is, what ifs floating all around and no sign of land on the horizon.

I feel the most for those with acute germ phobia and what lengths some are taking. Red raw I bet.

Get out of there. Take that puppy for a walk. We're doing exactly that shortly.

Yeah this sentence here really hit home looking at all this through the physical side of things, I tried to reach out to a friend whom I've spoke to you about recently, found out he's stuck in a highly contagious area in the bigger city of Charlotte which is locked down currently...No telling what mess he is dealing with there, he could be infected and laid up in a hospital for all I know, seems this is the new reality and many areas are going to get thinned out, all this talk of opening the doors at Easter are just mirages, perhaps its said more to give some comfort others because many people do handle things quite differently...

Yes your friend will be one at high risk as his thoughts will be elsewhere until it's too late I fear but there is always hope and keeping the best images to mind is the best strategy, if one can be applied I'm not sure as I could not apply panic to order so I do understand the terrible states some are in. For some reason I know the gravity but don't worry too much, probably has something to do with my troublesome past and sticky situations.

I'm a big believer in America acting as one during future outbreaks like this from now on. In fact I do wonder if a hypothetical pausing of the globe should be taken more seriously. The banks would suffer I was told but don't have the knowledge to understand how but I took his word for it but still could see a one action policy for all nations at a certain level and at the same time as being somehow benificial.

Adding to that if this makes sense, it's quite clear in my mind's eye...Someone can be all neck deep in the muck, or on the flip side of being at a very joyous occasion, happy as pie, within all of that and everything there's a key element, 'identification'...There's one thing of being a good actor, doing what's necessary and playing the part quite well and then the other of forgetting one is playing the part, forgetting it's all an act, if that one doesn't remember to remember then clumsiness alone increases the chance of facing a double-edged sword that is quite sharp...

From my perspective we all come into this world for many various reasons, countless reasons, some are here to rest, others to play, still others to learn, some to help, some in need of help and on and on and on...It's also clear to me that for whatever reason, we all came here to also experience this virus pandemic, a common element for all human life here on earth at this time, so surely, as we were coming in to this world from the other side, we had to know this was a coming during our time here, from the soul/spirit/consciousness point of view...eh?...

I'm having to chew it but I get a gist of it I think.

Complacency in the face of danger in order to portrait and uphold a certain image of strength. I'm not sure if we act during these times, more of a reaction I think. My closest toughest brother is worried sick and my mother is more steady like myself. I found I was stronger than I thought and have a good idea as to why, my detaching from emotion during my hay days. Like your friend is doing now, a desensitisation somehow. Not so good in normal times but during times of great stress it keeps the emotions steady.

It hasn't changed my life much. A few extra trips to different store locations to get what I needed because the one(s) that I usually frequent were out of stock.

I did find that large pack of tp but it was at Walmart instead of where I usually get it at Costco. And it was a dollar cheaper. When I got home there was a shopping cart outside my building so I only had to make one trip with all the groceries. I did notice that a few people thought I was panic shopping and stopped to make fun of me. Actually, it was my normal monthly shopping list and I am still a few items short because I couldn't find them.

The streets were very quiet and Costco was allowing 50 customers at a time to enter the store. It didn't take long, maybe 3 minutes for me to gain entry. When leaving, my cash out teller lady was pretty mouthy but I put her in her place right quick and she backed off. The kid packing the groceries was very helpful. To be honest, I think he might have been a little scared of me after watching me take "Ms. Mouthpiece" down a notch.

More cases in my area now, 5 miles away resides the closest confirmed case, I have to go in to work for about 4 hours on Monday morning, I kind of dread it, people who work there come from many surrounding counties and cities, it could circulating in that facility...I have no choice but to wear all the PPE I have on Monday, I just have to go in to do some minor programming and troubleshooting that I cannot do remotely...A few months ago the biggest concern at the Plant regarding PPE was some employees not wearing their ear plugs in the equipment areas, nowI'm told the biggest concern regarding PPE is keeping controls and keyboards and whatnot wiped down with disinfectant every 2 hours and keeping employees 6 feet or more apart from one another at all times...

Indeed.

At least the Naked Time virus - or whatever it was - made that weird little sound when it infected you

Been sort of wondering about that myself, even before this started. All I can say for sure is that I was not made to be idle.

Some also came here to suffer, believe it or not (for some that might be a hard pill to swallow), now whether its a conscious or a unconscious suffering is a different consideration for the individual, but also an important one...IMO

I'm sitting outside at the edge of the forest behind my workshop with Kobi, probably not a soul within a 1/2 mile except my closest neighbor down the road...It's a nice late afternoon in the shade of the trees and a nice breeze, hope no coronavirus are tailing a ride on that breeze...The number of people infected have tripled in the small town I go to get groceries, I'll need to go there at the end of next week to get more dog food...I might go tomorrow afternoon instead because by the end of the week the infected might be quadruple what it it's currently...
