Lights over Scottish borders

Hi there,

Due to the lock down, me and my neighbor (were in a 2 floor block of flats, on the end, I'm on 2nd floor and he's on bottom, my living room window looks out onto his front porch door) have been in the garden looking at the sky.
Tonight (24-4-20) we were amazed, I have been sitting looking in a Southward direction, and have seen at least 10 lights travelling eastwards, almost as if they looked like satellites flying over, this was over a period of an 1-2hours(10-11.30ish). Not only was these was witnessed but also maybe another 5-7 others in the sky heading in all kinds of directions, not only going in straight lines but almost as if zig zagging. Some of them seemed to disappear aswell, although I'm not sure wether that was due to clouds.

Anyone have any ideas on what they may be?
Wasn't sure with this pandemic that maybe the skies are clearer and satellites may be more visible? But how would that explain the zigzags, and also do satelites not all travel in same directions? Has anyone else seen anything like this?

Look forward to your replys

Possibly Elon Musk's Starlink satellites.

If they aren't alien visitors flying above us, they could be UAS (unmanned aerial systems) which I believe can fly fairly fast, especially the military type of them and some can fly quite high in the atmosphere...

Hi

I would like to say they was the Ellon musk satellites but unfortunately the lights weren't directly behind each other but more to be on the same path but rather spaced out.

Ah thanks Nivek, I am going to have a wee look at that now
