This is cool these guys are using only 1930s vintage instruments to create this music.
Orkestra Obsolete play Blue Monday using 1930s instruments

Holiday season all out of whack. We gave Xmas and Halloween all mixed up. This is one of my favorites. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy does an excellent cover but there's nothing like the one you grew up with

I put this one here not only because i've always liked it very much... but also because I have just been explaining to Nivek whom Marc Bolan was... and it just jumped into my head that you might be interested in knowing that it is Marc himself that provided the funky guitar work that made this record so memorable. He did it as a favour because his girlfriend [Gloria Jones] was a friend and frequent backing singer of Ike and Tinas's in the 60's . [ incidentally she had her own biggish-hit in 1964 with Tainted Love] ... he never took the credit for doing this favour that turned out to be Tina's biggest self-penned hit, to save Ike's blushes. [Ike couldn't master the tune.]

Cheers.
