I can certainly say I hate winter! We probably got 10 inches of snow since late yesterday. I have a good size snowblower but it can’t handle that type of accumulation. Punxsutawney Phil says more winter. Grrrrr.

I'm glad we don't get the amount of snow that you all do, however our bad month is typically February, ice storms come our way some winters during February...I guess that's why so many trees got pruned around here by the power company over the past two weeks, they're preparing for the ice next month lol...

February is usually our bad weather month in South Central Pennsylvania. I guess we are seeing that now. Thankfully the shoveling got done today. The wind is really whipping up this evening. I dislike trying to shovel when snow turns to ice. Friday weather reports say that the temperature should be in the 40s with rain occurring.

Tomorrow is forecast to be the last warm day were going to have for the next couple weeks, and in this case warm means 50 degrees and sunshine lol...I think I'll take my dog to the park tomorrow afternoon, there's a nice paved trail at the county park...The ground around here is like a sponge, its overly saturated because of all the rain borderline freezinf rain and snow that we've been getting lately...This winter so far has been colder than usual and with much more moisture...

I have all the seeds I wanted to grow for the new additions to this year's garden crops; a sweet corn variety from the Midwest US, French green beans, an orange bell pepper from Poland, and brandywine tomatoes...With those four I'll be planting the same crooked neck watermelon I grew last year, pole climber green beans, broccoli, bibb lettuce, and oregano...I might grow some potatoes this year too, probably the small red potato variety....

Usually that's the component which fails in heating systems...Last year my mom's heating went out and it turned out to be a capacitor blown, I think she paid about 150 or so...

We`ve went through 3 caps for the outside condenser blower,so far. They say full sun wont cause them to gout, but i planted a crepe myrtle buy it to shade it anyhow, this spring i`ll use some of the foxfarms grow big on it, since i have it. About 5 years ago i had to order a new control board for it, install was easy for me.The hvac was installed in 94 3 years before i bought the house and dont know how much longer it`ll hold up, not looking forward to a new unit.

Kate was promoted to shift manager. This promotion grants her $2.00 more an hour and more responsibility.
And a bigger scholarship from McDonald's.

Either the capacitors had been replaced with inferior parts or there could be something putting an over charge on those capacitors causing the life of them to blow out sooner than they should...

Turned into a busy day earlier this morning, had to fix some plumbing, pressure relief valve on a water heater needed to be replaced and there was a leak behind a shower wall, fortunately there was an access panel...

Got a heatwave tomorrow, forecast to be a 60 degree sunny day, hope it comes true, I'd like to change the oil in my car tomorrow...I don't have a garage or anything to bring the car inside to do it and I have the oil and filter on the shelf in my workshop so I'm not going to pay someone to do it lol...

I'd like to sit on a hill about 100 yards away and take care of that little bastard when he pops up looking to make trouble ....

I am pretty much out of supplies. My car is buried in snow. It is -42 here right now. My computer was hacked and the hacker is demanding that I send him thousands of dollars or he will send all my contacts a video of me sitting at my own computer monitor watching porn videos.

I don't watch porn. I don't have a camera. The weird part is this person had my password that I used 12 years ago. The password was changed then and my computer tower has changed twice since then. I don't store my passwords anywhere. My passwords are committed to memory only. I don't even let my browsers store them.

I recently changed ISPs and got a VPN feature to fiddle with. Your cable modem uses a public facing address that can be traced to a specific area, a city or area within one. The Virtual Private Network allows you to pick various cities from a drop down menu and make it appear as if your traffic - webs, email, etc - is coming from somewhere else. So I played with that a while out of curiosity and my reward for it was to expose a security vulnerability. My old legacy ISP email accounts sent their login passwords in the clear and it got exploited when was using my VPN to surf through what must've been 'bad neighborhoods' Worst case was what you are experiencing - lots of annoying email to an account I no longer use.

I could care less about porn either. I'm a DIYer from way back and would rather do it myself :)
You want to hack my PC prepare to be bored by a lot of useless info about cars, cryptids and lots of cat and dog pictures.

Well, things are happening around here all right. My wife has decided to raise rabbits, for fun and profit. But not just any rabbits - she has begun with two Flemish Rabbits. Don't know if you are familiar with them, but when full grown they are about the size of a German Shepherd for crying out loud. But our dogs are getting used to them, and it keeps her busy. LOL
