It actually says that she was of the "same race." I'm assuming the reference is to the rest of the aliens.

Oh I missed that bit when I read that page, hmm that's strange then...

Humanoids Encountered Along Interstate 10 in New Mexico

2 humanoids dressed oversized pale blue overalls are encountered while driving on I-10 between La Cruces and Deming, New Mexico. The witnesses experienced burning pains in their chests and arms.

In a late June or July 1972, in Deming, New Mexico, Mrs. Hilda McAfee and her mother, driving in the direction of Las Cruces where, about 23 miles east of Deming, was surprised to see a blinding ray of light.

Amid the strong light, she observed two figures of average height, wearing pale blue overalls. The costume was very large, with wide belts, gloves, and dark boots. On their heads was a case with the dark visor.

The humanoids were not concerned by the presence of women.

They were "repairing" or "working" under a artifact that emitted a blue light, while talking to each other. They seemed rigid in their movements. Patti Morris, a researcher, said the women believed they had hit the artifact with their vehicle as it was in the middle road. They also speculate that the "light" of the device was used to avoid an accident.

The two women had burning, sharp pains in the chest and arms after the encounter on the road. Interestingly, the husband of Mrs. McAfee, Mike Rogers, is the brother of one of the witnesses of the famous Travis Walton case.

Hi Nivek, yes I know this photograph/case pretty well because of it being so close to home [literally close to home lol].
It came from an off-duty policeman named Phil Spencer whom 'allegedly' had a UFO and abduction encounter back in 1987 . This is just me, but personally I don't buy a bar of it to tell you the truth. Firstly the 'witness' claimed that there was a landed saucer that he saw before 'the alien'... but there's no photo of the 'ET-Taxi'?.. secondly, of course the absolute crappy quality of the photo. [might just as well be an anomalously-looking bit of scrub that is basically what the whole of the moors are.... notice it is exactly a perfect colour match?] ... thirdly, there was an article in the Star newspaper with a story that an insurance broker claimed that the picture was of him on his bicycle with a briefcase in his hand! ... and the longer I gazed at the picture, the more I believed it was just about right.
... Also, there is the fact that this 'policeman Phil Spencer' just happened across a truly rare and outstanding ET- event up on Ilkley Moor [my back garden] , but then didn't find out that he had actually been abducted by the alien until much time after the 'event' by means of hypnosis ... so much mirrors the PC. Alan Godfrey case from the same area seven years prior, also with no real corroborating witnesses... is just too big a pill for me to swallow mate. ... How about you? ;)
In case you have not seen it... Here's a link to the story and to a transcript of the hypnosis session ...

Hi Auggie hope you are well my friend. ... it looked interesting to me too, and so I thought i'd have a little look... and it apparently is just one of an absolute giant wave of UFO sightings over Europe in 1954. This one is the story of Marius Dewilde, a railway guardian, who lived in a house by the tracks close to the railway station at Quarouble,Nord, France. .. and According to Dewilde, on the night of September 10, 1954, his dog started barking at 22:30. Dewilde initially ignored the dog, but went outside with a flashlight after his dog continued to bark franticly. He walked towards the tracks, and he saw an object some 6 or 7 metres away from him. Behind him, he could hear some steps. When he pointed the flashlight, Dewilde saw two small humanoid figures, “about 80 cm to 1 metre….” When the light was pointed to their heads, it was reflected as if they were wearing a mirror helmet or something. ... Suddenly, a light beam got off the object he saw on the tracks and left him totally paralyzed. He slowly looked back and saw a door opening at the object behind him. The beings boarded the object and it took off towards the sky, changing its colours in the meanwhile.
When he recovered his movements, he attempted to tell his wife and then his neighbour of what he had just seen, but neither of them had seen nor heard anything. He then tried the local police, which sent some police officers to his home. Dewilde could not approach the point where everything happened, because it made him feel sick, giving the officers a certainty that his story was not a hoax. Also, objects which are energized by battery, like Dewilde’s flashlight and telephone, stopped working. Before sunrise, investigators were already all over the place.
According to Keith Basterfield Dewilde’s encounter was one of the first of the French wave... apparent wave over French soil
... only a couple on that list looks a bit familiar to me, but some interesting stuff there for sure!
...as I said, the wave was not confined to France, but Pan-Europe wide and perhaps the best example of a European UFO event in 1954 [perhaps all time?] occurred just a couple of weeks later over the border in Italy, ... Florence in fact and it was the famous case of when a couple of flying saucers stopped play in a big football match when The mighty Fiorentina club was playing against its local rival Pistoiese. ...

... a fascinating case imho ... The day UFOs stopped play

Cheers Auggie.

And just while we're at considering famous rather weird looking 'Alien' pictures that were taken on the English moors, ... what is your opinion of the most famous of them all my friend? ... and that is of course The Solway Firth Spaceman picture from 1964...
the-solway-firth-spaceman-1481055146.jpg

... I know that it must have been discussed many times on this and all similar sites, with the inevitable debunkings being agreed with and laughed at with equal relish... but the plain truth is that no matter how preposterous the picture and 'Spaceman' notion is [and btw impo, it's bunk] the photo has never been comprehensively debunked [and only a fool would claim otherwise] ... a particular debunk that makes me smile and roll my eyes at the same time was the [expert-debunker's] insistence that we were looking at a picture of a seagull passing behind the posing girl. [Elizabeth Templeton]
I don't know what you think matey, but after years of mulling the identity of the 'Spaceman' I have come to the conclusion that it is in actual fact a photograph taken by Jim Templeton of young Elizabeth that has also caught her mother [Annie] walking away up the hill in the background.
The only thing that stops me declaring this as 'fact' is that I wasn't there at the time. [I was only a baby, and not old enough to muscle in on somebody's picnic yet! ] .. I know that the photo of Annie looks a bit .. unflattering and dare I say it... wooden?.. but that isn't all that unusual in out of focus pictures [as we saw in the Ilkley Moor Alien... if indeed it was the 'insurance man'.. as I believe it to be] ... And perhaps even the greatest object to my theory isn't all that hard to overcome, if you believe that the 'white Spaceman suit' is actually Annie's bluey-green dress that bad focus , lighting and development process can account for the discrepancy !? ... here's Annie with her bluey-green dress laid on the grass besides Elizabeth on the roll's previous picture ...

Interesting fact to go along with that photo is nearby there was a report either that same day or before of strange humanoids seen fitting in description very close to what is seen in that photo.
I would have to do some digging to find it. I believe it is with that story told by another researcher.

If they need spacesuits, how was he able to have sex with the red haired alien? Or was she different from the others?

I have read many versions of that story including the original.
Impression I got was that they needed the suits for long term exposure to our atmosphere.
Just before they had their intimate encounter a strange gas was released into the room. Perhaps that was to help to more closely match what they need.

From all I have read that case is a mistake of picture interpretation as mentioned ..and not an alien. This has been looked at with enhancements etc and shown to be the mother in the background and overexposed in the picture image.
