My mother and my aunt both got the Pfizer shots, both in their 80s, my mom had no side effects from the shot but my aunt was down for a few days with fatigue and aches and pains all over and she said she had no appetite for a few days...She's fine now, they were one of the first ones who got vaccinated around the first month of this year...

been a while nivek. no ill effects of note from our first pfizer shots. will check back after my second shot next wednesday. actually have an echo cardiogram the next day. surgeon likes to know how my titanium sutureless aortic valve is doing. getting old. love it! heh

Went into town yesterday and way more people are voluntarily wearing masks, almost 50 percent of the people I saw were wearing compared to about two weeks ago...I guess this Indian variant has made some waves...I've still been wearing a mask in the grocery store and other shops, but I don't linger around those places like some people do...I just get what I need and out the door promptly...

We're back to mandatory masks. I feel it's mostly meant as a muzzle. People were talking to each other a lot more without it.

I went to the grocery store today and wore my mask. I was almost the only one wearing a mask, but my sister and neice got sick last week and tested positive for covid. I don't know if my niece was vaccinated or not. My sister wasn't and had been staying home, but wen to Roswell last weekend for a weightlifting meet. I think she was already contagious and I worry about how many people may have gotten from her.

Yeah its not a huge inconvenience to wear a mask for what, 30min if that, to go in the shop, get what you need and promptly depart...To me its a nobrainer...Back when they relaxed the mask mandates here I was glad and gladly stopped wearing since it was no longer required and since I'm vaccinated...However things are different now and the Indian variant has more than a foothold in our country and its infecting vaccinated people and killing some of those vaccinated...So the mask goes back on as I've been wearing one for the past couple weeks or more whenever I go into any public place...Ugh wish this was over...
