I haven't seen it, but maybe kids are the intended audience.
As for me, I'm not interested in the Transformers.
Well, Transformers: Dark of the Moon is now on Netflix. Some people hate it, some love it. The Moon angle intrigues me, so I'm putting aside my previous misgivings to check it out.

I've heard bad things about Morbius from more than one source, they also say if you decide to see the end credits clip its even worse...I considered going to the theater to see this movie but I think I'll instead wait...

IMDB apparently has ceased promoting a certain class of user reviews. "Prolific Reviewers" no longer comes up immediately.

There are certain actors that will doom a movie. Jerad Leto is one of them.
This is a bad movie. I lost all interest.
My boys wanted to see spider man again. Matt Smith is a good actor but here it was clear he was in the movie for a paycheck.
The plot is like a dumped out puzzle missing pieces.
What to say.. avoid this movie..
0/10

I watched this movie last night, yeah it was awful, didn't like Matt Smith’s performance either, bad writing and bad acting...Both Matt Smith and Jared Leto phoned in their performance...The end credits clips were discombobulated...

Be forewarned, some say it's not actually a comedy.

The King's Man is also not a comedy, despite the franchise.

I didn't watch Dog yet, I was in the mood for a comedy the other night and when you said it wasn't a comedy I watched Free Guy instead lol...I'll check out Dog later this week...

The other movie (newer) with Ryan Reynolds is also really funny. I forget what it's called.

The Lost City

Channing Tatum and Brad Pitt. Two actors that I don't really care for. Love Sandra Bullock. :)

It's pretty funny at times. Despite the occasional blood letting/splattering, I'd say it's not bad for say, 12 and older to watch. It really is laugh out loud funny at times. I'd say 7/10

IMDB says, 7.3/10

Did I mention how I don't really care for Channing Tatum & Brad Pitt? And yet, it's funny. :laugh8:

Watched this last night.... ... I know that it's not exactly new, but only just got round to watching it, and have to report that i'd personally give it a 7/10... I think that the director was aiming for a Tarantino-cross-Assault-on-Precinct-13 kind of vibe .. but falling some way short. Nevertheless , as an example of a' hole ridden plot with a bit of questionable acting type popcorn movie... it wasn't half bad.

Cheers.

Discovered an obscure Dr. Strange movie from 1978. It was made for TV and is low-res. It was intended as a pilot for a series that failed to get the green light. Stan Lee served as a consultant for it.

I'm 2/3 of the way through it. It's not bad; it's an origin story with Morgan Le Fay as the villain, and Wong and Clea as supporting characters. The special effects seem primitive, but I believe they were above average for the time period.
Would have made for a dandy series. Alas, the stars were not aligned at the time. 7/10

Ahh Nancy Drew! Now a modern kid she rides a skateboard has ripped jeans.
Acts cool. And between her would be boyfriend and high school antics solves a mystery. This Nancy is tough and edgy but is lost in a sometimes confusing script. Nancy Drew works best as she is in the books. A 1920s kid.
It was good but I rather had had it set in 1927.
5.5/10

I never knew she was originally set so far back. Do you know if the same applies to the Hardy Boys?

When I was 11/12 I was obsessed with Nancy Drew. I can remember wanting to be like her. To the point where I started questioning what everyone around me said or did. lol
