Manipulation of the UFO Phenomenon: Are We Being Duped?

So apparently the UAPTF main scientist was Travis Taylor, who hangs out with the Skinwalker Ranch History Channel Show crew(Heard the show is awful), and who just recently confessed that he got the Bokeh UAP vid wrong. Ouch...

Makes me worry on the accuracy of that last years preliminary report. Hopefully the new and more robust AOIMSG can look it over and scrutinize it down. If there are still something left after that as so far seems, then it will get intresting.

I think Chris Lehto is on the right track, and Coulthart too. Lehto's ideas about UFOs are mostly a match for my beliefs, though his ultimate interpretation of what UFOs are is a bit different; he apparently believes they are a control mechanism in a universe he views as organismic; the UFOs are here because we've gotten out of control and they are here to fix the situation much like leukocytes, while I think it might just be ETs, with amazing technologies. It might be a technology so advanced that it is living for all intents and purposes. It might be a type of life existing in a way that we have not yet thought of --but looking at the photos and listening to witnesses and reading the old accounts, it seems like some kind of technology that we would deploy (if we could), to monitor another civilization that would be less advanced. And the behavior of the devices / objects doesn't cause a tipping point --even over a period of many decades or centuries, though much contact is indeed made with us.
This Lehto episode is good --Kaku is just in the beginning:

As above, so bellow
Excellent thread.

Of course we've been duped ... and for at least 70-80 years.

You all know that I study UFO cases from point of view of physics and UFO witness statements are choke full or regular, mainstream physical effects spanning from mechanics, to electrodynamics and general relativity. Maybe once or twice in 200 - 300 UFO reports I came across report that was obviously pure fantasy and self-promotion, the rest 99% were down to earth scientific.

Question is really why were they duping us? ... and why are they drip feeding us now?

Even bigger question is, after 80 years of effectively lying from governments, why so many people turns to governments for UFO answers? That's the biggest question of all.

Yes they are drip-feeding us now because they have to because the phenomenon is turning up the heat on them again as it has done periodically in the past. Those who would keep secrets about it have been outflanked --both by the folks in the military who have discussed their experiences online, and by the phenomenon itself. They won't even show the public the list of shapes of the objects they are encountering. They blow much hot air about evidence the have that was recorded by multiple sensors but claim that it can't be revealed or it would compromise our secret surveillance capabilities. What?! Just black out everything but the freaking object! But no...
Skeptics were right; a secret that big just couldn't be kept. Not forever --especially when the subject of the secret never went away.
No one in their right mind can imagine that the military wants to talk about UFOs --or would voluntarily reveal their knowledge about them for national security-----heck world security reasons. One good reason for keeping things secret is that they have no control over the phenomenon and it's capabilities are far beyond ours. For me, the behavior of UFOs makes perfect sense --I won't bore folks with re-typing it again..
Nice new forum!

Well, at least reporting UFOs will become easier. That's the official plan, anyway.

The House of Representatives on Wednesday voted for an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act, making it easier to report unidentified flying objects or UFOs.

The amendment creates a secure reporting system for UFOs and would also "prevent unauthorized public reporting or compromise of properly classified military and intelligence systems, programs and related activities."

It’s meant for government workers and military personnel to report a sighting without fears of retaliation and asks for the "immediate sharing" of phenomena "previously prohibited from reporting under any non-disclosure written or oral agreement, order, or other instrumentality or means."
