I always wondered about this one , some feel it is just a rock ?

more pixelated landforms.....the first ones are sand dunes, the one at 9 minutes is a resistant layer likely no more than 2 feet think.....and the remainder were to blurry and or pixelated to say for sure.....but if one could see the detailed regional images the answers would be easy.

The shadow

The shadow knows!
sure that's mars? look close you can see several other structures and a trail! square structure and a third structure possible trail is this mars or earth?22.jpg

we have 4 100% artificial structures on mars? if this is for real you got the story of the century!

Sheltie

Fratty and out of touch.
Fascinating! Most people don't realize how tiny and distant Mars is. I've never been able to find it with my telescope. Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn are all easy to catch.

Dundee

Fading day by day.
You need to post the original link to the NASA website for stuff like this or it looses a lot of oomph. It wont answer the question as to what it is, but that would eliminate questions like is it Earth, or accusations of Photoshop.
Just had a look, the Metadata has been stripped so that always makes me suspicious.
I might go try to find it on the NASA site.

I've been doing that since I was at AU.....the regional views answer all the questions. Especially with the small scale resistant layer the chucklehead said was a structure.

Apollo

Adept
Often times I've found that "structures" on Mars tend to be very small in scale as compared to what we (our minds) perceive them to be. People tend to see what they want to see.

The soil on mars is peroxide and can't harbor life.

Now if we land thousands of comets and create an ocean we might be able to change that.

But no one has put forth a good reason for an alien civilization to put bases on what is a dead virtually airless oversized moon.
