This is a very strange day at work, I can't put my finger on it, it's like something overall is out of place...
For me it was a nice day, nothing odd. Wasn't cold outside, nailed everything at work (hopefully). But it's always there that a nuclear war breaks out lmao.

I've been working for the past 6 days straight 7am-4pm and then some private parties from 4pm to around 9pm... today is my first day off until tomorrow comes. Besides that, I was able to trade my old car in for a newer one, and have been studying in all my spare time for certification tests coming up in a couple of weeks...

But really, what are the reasons it feels so off? I have had the days where small things either happen or don't happen, and add up to make the day feel strange.

Well everything appeared as normal yesterday but it felt like either myself or everything else didn't belong...Kind of like I felt I wasn't meant to be where I was all day...Hard to explain, still had that feeling early this morning but kind of faded now as the day moves on...

I understand what you mean, kind of. I've felt the same way, like in the moment, I belonged somewhere else, doing something else. Sort of like deja vu, I guess? As if I already knew how it was supposed to go, even though I didn't, and could point out why it was off.

With heavy heart and tear filled eyes I have to report our boy((Zuess)an english lab) crossed over the rainbow bridge this morning. We could not let him suffer. Run free my little big man.
Sad to hear, they live such short lives...

It was tough letting him go, we found him as a pup just weened and wondering around. my wife got out and grabbed him, he was full of worms, which we treated, and he had red mange all his life that is incurable but can be managed by daily grooming and a weekly bath with a dog shampoo that has aloe vera in it.and lots of triple antibiotic ointment.I had put alot into trying to make his life a good one.But why i`m posting more is that like my last dog that i had to have put down, she was a kelpie, but the first night after, we both noticed things like she was reassuring us she was ok. It happened this morning with zues, my wife was woke up by his whimpering to go out to pee beside our bed, and she couldnt go back to sleep so she got up and later heard him do a loving moan,(an english lab thing), when that happened she came back to bed and i had got up an hour later. As i was getting myself ready for work i heard it too. when she got up as i was leaving i asked her if she had heard anything odd, thats when she told me what she experienced. Its kinda gets me thinking cause a dog i had years before died of old age here, and i never seen or noticed anything from him, just the ones that are put down by the vet.

After 7 days straight of working overtime and doubles for a new company I came to find out HR has been screwing me by paying me above average for the first week and then dropping me BELOW minimum wage, not even paying time and a half or double when I go vastly beyond the hours they're supposed to give for "part time".
Confronted my specific HR manager today and he just sort of sighed, so I told him he needs to find someone to cover for my second shift tomorrow as he has me scheduled from 7am to 11pm, and the second shift is only paying barely over $5 an hour.
Currently looking for an entry level IT job to put my degree to use but of course no where wants to give you a shot without 2-3 years of experience, so this place remains my only option until a miracle rears it's head.

I got hired and they told me it'd be $11-$16 an hour as they compensated whatever tips didn't meet etc... however I've noticed from paystubs and other employees they don't compensate, and when you bring it to their attention they couldn't care less.
Yet they ask you to drive 3 hours out of state to work a 9 hour shift, come back and work another 6 hour shift the same night. I've been looking for other work but can't just up and leave until something concrete comes along as I do have payments to make.

Here the basic wage is $25 an hour. That's not very good what they are paying you. Slave labour in my book.
