you think it could be supernatural don't ya!? why would you post it here? be honest & don't waste my time-- if i'm wrong then you should think before you post!
The easiest way for me to not waste your time would be for you to just not participate in this thread.
I am asking you nicely. Just let it pass.If I posted it in the wrong thread, I am sure August or Nivek will move it.
If I did, sorry about that. Wouldn't be the first time, wont be the last I expect.

The Messenger Of All Gods old and new
I almost always sleep with my outside door open and the fly wire screen closed. I like the fresh air. But there is a bit of a tear in the fly screen so I usually have a constant colony of Mossies in my room. (I only have one bedroom off the kitchen. Tiny unit in the end of a shed.
Anyway i am used to the mossies. I am not a fan of pesticides so although there is a spray can here somewhere I never use it. I got up the other morning and there were dead Mossies everywhere, they were on my computer desk, kitchen sink, clusters of them on the floor. It was like every mossisde in the place decided to die at once.
I did not spray insecticide, yet I could not have bettered the death toll with anything short of a bug bomb.
I literately walked around with the brush and shovel sweeping up mossie bodies. Been here over two years now, and I have never seen it before.
Any ideas, do mossies all die on the one night. I have never seen that before.
WTF ARE MOSSIES?

no problems with mosquitoes in our neck of the woods dundee. however last year we an infestation of migrating asian ladybugs. and they were so bad we couldn't see outside our patio windows, they love the heat. never seen that many before. thousands. we have vast ground covers of periwinkles under a few large trees. ordinary ladybugs live inside of them but asian ladybugs are orange not red and they bite. some made their way into the house through the bottom water drain holes of the patio doors. prepped a little bowl of dish water and water and flicked them in. was weird. good luck with the mossies.

Fratty and out of touch.
That's interesting, cosmic. I live in central Virginia and I've never seen the biting ladybugs but I have a friend who lives out in the country, closer to Charlottesville, who was telling me that he has a really bad problem with them.

Mossies need very little water to breed , just a small amount of water will produce thousands of the little blood suckers. I always make sure anything on the property with water in it is empty during the summer months.

Mosquitos have a delicate system and can be vulnerable to sudden changes. Perhaps a sudden temperature drop or increase. Perhaps an air freshener you may have used did the trick.
