I have to agree with him, he's got awesome electric cars (in my opinion) that don't need it oil's oil and he's flying rockets in space for himself and for the US government...

Elon Musk Goes Full Conspiracy Theorist, Blames Big Oil for Tesla's Negative Media Coverage

It appears that billionaire CEO Elon Musk is convinced that big oil executives have taken time out of their perversely cash generative work days to pin the financial media against him and his cash incinerating company.

The latest surprising, yet oddly not surprising, news from the world of the Tesla media relations dumpster fire comes courtesy of Elon Musk once again taking to Twitter and raging about the powers that be who are holding Tesla back from its inevitable glorious zenith as the green energy company that will save the world.

In his latest installment of Tweets, Musk seems to have gone from agitated to full on nervous break down as he took to Twitter this afternoon in order to do several things, none of which had anything to do with addressing Tesla's capital needs or bottlenecked Model 3 production.

He can start by debunking his own company first.. Tesla cars being disabled remotely.

Really, I didn't know that...hmm

Elon Musk warns Tesla haters they have 3 weeks until their 'short position explodes'

  • Tesla CEO Elon Musk is taunting those betting against the company's stock.
  • Following his last provocation, shares went up more than 20%.
  • Still, bets against the stock continue to rise to new records, and are currently at $13,2 billion.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk was taunting short-sellers, or those betting the company's stock price will go down, once again over the weekend.

"They have about three weeks before their short position explodes," Musk replied on Twitter to Fred Lambert, editor of the electric auto news site Electrek who asked about reports of the Tesla assembly line being in a "tent."

It's not Musk's first time taunting short-sellers. In early May, he tweeted that the "short burn of the century" was coming soon. The stock then proceeded to rise 21% in the weeks after, and it currently sits at a nine-month high of $367, well above Wall Street's target price of $317.

here is my post on another forum on this topic:

ok,
let me tell of the big error of the tesla car company
I know electrical engineering quite well
battery management is a big issue
I have had many batteries fail due to bad management of the cells.
many battery packs short extra voltage when cells are charged.
this is about the most stupid idea ever.
I worked at reliability engineering for years.
now I know that the only tech detail I know for sure is that they put the batteries in parallel or series depending on speed of the car (great for efficiency)
but the cells, if they fail, will take the entire circuit out of use.
now what I wonder if what the circuit voltage can be without failure.
of all the 18650 cells I have ever bought, that specification is still not listed, and my tests show random results
I am sure this data is out there somewhere,
but verifying the battery pack of the "tesla" cars seems not public.
so, we have to trust that company...
and the data is in, (sadly by fire and the death of people)
we can not trust that company at all.
so my question to past companies I have worked for, and for you here,
"who has that much money to spend on a product that will likely kill them"
turns out there are some, but not quite enough to support any company

Some of Elon's employees have something to say about him...q27

Tesla workers say they pay the price for Elon Musk's big promises

The CEO is known for outsized claims and ambitious goals. But numerous factory workers say he doesn’t follow through – and that his leadership sets a troubling tone.

Musk wrote:
No words can express how much I care about your safety and wellbeing. Going forward, I’ve asked that every injury be reported directly to me, without exception. I’m meeting with the safety team every week and would like to meet every injured person as soon as they are well, so that I can understand from them exactly what we need to do to make it better. I will then go down to the production line and perform the same task that they perform.

A Tesla spokesman said that Musk had met with injured workers “many times” and worked on the assembly line “many times” and provided the names of 10 workers that they said could attest to this.

Of the 10 workers whose names Tesla provided, the Guardian was able to reach four, including Guajardo. None of the four had ever been injured, but they all praised Musk and said they had seen him at the factory.

“He didn’t meet with me,” said Richard Ortiz, a former Tesla factory worker who was injured at work in July 2017.

“That’s PR; that’s bologna,” said another current Tesla employee, who said Musk had never met with him about the three pinched nerves in his arm.

“He didn’t meet with me, and my incident was filed,” said a third Tesla employee, who was injured in October. “If he was truly going to meet with all the employees who got injured, he would be here for half the year.”

A major investigation by the Center for Investigative Reporting’s Reveal has cast serious doubt over Tesla’s claims about its injury rates, which must be reported to workplace safety regulators. Reveal found that Tesla had kept injuries off its books, making the company’s safety record look better than it was, and the government has opened an investigation.

In recent months, three lawsuits have been filed against Tesla alleging that the company is violating California labor laws by, among other things, failing to provide workers with legally mandated breaks. Tesla said that it “goes above and beyond the requirements of California and federal law in providing all workers with meal and rest breaks and appropriate overtime pay.”

More shenanigans at Tesla?...

A 'saboteur' in the ranks: Elon Musk says rogue Tesla employee altered code on manufacturing system and passed data to outsiders in 'extensive and damaging sabotage' as he launches corporate espionage probe
  • Musk accused an employee of 'making direct code changes to the Tesla Manufacturing Operating System under false usernames' on Sunday
  • The Tesla CEO also said that the employee, who had been passed over for a job, exported 'large amounts of highly sensitive Tesla data to unknown third parties'
  • That employee is now being investigated for corporate espionage
  • Musk's email says the employee in question 'wanted a promotion he did not receive'
  • Just two days prior, Musk had sent a company-wide email calling for an increase in the production of Tesla Model 3 at manufacturing facilities
  • He said that 'radical improvements' were needed in order to 'achieve sustained, 700+ per week on the body line'
  • Tesla´s profitability is dependent of its Model 3 output, which is intended for mass production
