I can't help but think these events in real life were far, far less dramatic. That said it looks like it could be a well-done period piece and entertaining. I will try to watch it.

It looks good, and looks to be entertaining...

Shows I've seen before that have said "based upon a true story" are usually true when all the made for TV drama is taken out, but not always lol...There's some pretty dramatic people in the world...

You mean The History Channel is going to air a program that's not a reality show about hot rods, sword making, pawn brokers, or mountaineering? It looks like it has an actual basis in history -- that will be something different for them.
