Out of curiosity I checked this morning and see the Paracast site is still out to lunch. Either it really is or my IP address has been screened. I suppose I could load Tor and check but instead I'm going to make more productive use of my time this morning and go scoop out the cat box.

Even if income from the Paracast is zero he could simply do a minimum wage job and top it up to a decent amount - the whole Uber/Lyft thing is a just a reason for him to justify having a car which is a luxury not a necessity.

As Gene has said before he doesn't want to do any "low level" jobs because they are beneath him - that includes working in an Apple Store (which I wouldn't consider low level) but Gene has some weird standards despite being a beggar.

When times are tough people re-evaluate what is needed and what isn't, they cut back and budget in accordance with that.

Gene's solution is to ask other people to pay and he has been doing it for at least 12 years.

As I mentioned, I have moved sites to other servers, I have moved this forum once to another server and soon doing it again, never been down more than 10 to 20 minutes max, mainly because of DNS updating, in fact the last time I did this I had virtually no downtime...Sounds like whomever was doing his work did not know what they were doing or he is not saying what really occurred...Just my opine based upon my own work...
