This one is a bit late. The funny thing is he called it "Thursday emergency!" but there is no emergency. It seems to just be a copy/paste of the last one.

Every now and then, even after months of following this crap, it hits me how bizarre all this is.
If I'm not mistaken, he's asked for money at least once a day since 8/31, and more than once a day on two of those days. That we know of.
He titles the email today, "Thursday emergency!" What is the emergency? Where is this emergency?
Yesterday he wailed about his bank accounts and PayPal account being close to zero. Less than 24 hours later he notes he's paid the motel again (is he really paying by day? why for God's sake? why not get a weekly rate? he makes it sounds as though no move out is imminent), and paid a monthly fee for his storage unit. He really just magicked that money up?
He just asks for money because he wants money. For what it's worth I do believe that he, his wife and their dog have been living a life they find miserable in a motel room for months now. I still just can't get over how this guy operates (and how he defends it and justifies it!). I can imagine appealing for money in some dire circumstances once maybe, something I'd never hope to reach but, I know it can happen to anyone. But for Gene, it's every day. It's his life. I know this. You know this. Yet sometimes the whole thing still boggles my mind.
By the way, if you can’t help Steinberg yourself, send the help plea to a friend or relative! Right Gene, I don’t want those people hating me.
Wheredidtheroadgo is by far the best podcast there is. Check it out.
I would literally rather be buried up to my neck in huntsman spiders than forward those friggin' chain mail cons to anyone.
- I don't know maybe I'm just reading too much into it and he is simply so socially inept that he truly has no understanding of how things seem to other people.
No, it wasn't Teddy Bear's fault!
Hi,
So Barbara, and I and Teddy Bear have to leave the motel Saturday, due to a weird incident in the front office on Wednesday.
It all started when I was extending the reservation, with Teddy Bear in tow on his leash, when a man came in.
Typical of Teddy Bear, he walked towards him, tail wagging rapidly, barking for attention. With a bit of reassurance from me, every other person who has been approached by Teddy Bear allowed him to come close, at which time he’d make friends.
Teddy Bear loves people!
This time, the man started screaming loudly and incoherently at Teddy Bear, so I pulled him away on the leash.
The man then yelled at me, threatening physical violence. Management took him away and tried to mollify him.
The next day, the front office insisted I come on, at which point one of the managers handed me a letter saying we had to leave because our dog threatened that man.
This is the sort of he said/he said issue that’s hardly worth disputing. It’s just a motel after all.
So we found a slightly better deal at another place. With two carloads of stuff, and Barbara still feeling less than well, it means a long, tiresome process to pack everything up and move to another motel.
I’m trying to put together enough cash on hand to cover the new reservation. We’re running short again.
Anders, our web developer/marketing person, is still busy finishing up work on the upgraded YouTube channel and the Paracast site. It’s taking longer than I hoped, but he promises we will most launch by weekend or maybe a day or two later.
In the meantime, are you able to help me survive for a few more days?
