First name. I believe he is a real person. I don't want to expose him though.

I am basing this on the "Anders" user account at the Paracast forum, and someone I found online who fits that profile (DOB match, name, location). I really don't want to open the guy up to attacks since I could be wrong or there could be a problem with Gene's story, and so forth.

So we have today's third transmission where Squeemey (a new name I'm trying for him) tries to avoid replenishing the negative balance on his Paypal account - the guy could out weasel a box of weasels:

As you know, a fake dispute filed by a customer has depleted my PayPal account, so it’s negative.

If you do send a PayPal donation, it’ll go to replenishing the balance, not helping me with current expenses.

So instead, let me suggest other ways you can help:

The easiest and fastest ways are via Facebook Messenger or Apple Pay Cash (using Messages). Donations sent that way can go directly to my bank account.

You may also send payments via Western Union or Moneygram. Write me for details. Another way is a direct deposit to my bank account. But I realize these methods are often frowned on, so I only suggest them as possible alternatives.

With ad payments and subscription payments to Paracast+ and Tech Night Owl+, the PayPal account should be replenished soon, so I can use it again.

If you’re not able to send a donation, feel free to forward this message to someone who might assist.

This transmission also proves that Gene is not interested in zeroing his Paypal balance. He just wants more money now in his hands so he can do whatever he does with it (gambling, drugs or perhaps just as bad the latest Iphone).

I just read about the “cyberbullies” who prevented Steinberg from squaring his predicament with the motel front office. Jesus, does this guy have blinders on! Me, Me, Me... it’s all about me!

Here’s a novel idea. Take $30 of your ill gotten gains and fill the car with some gas. Drive to the nearest Apple store and WalMart and apply for work. Yes, real honest to God jobs. Not your fake, “my websites are my jobs,” BS. I can almost guarantee you that there are openings available. The only problem I see is that those companies want hard working individuals, not lazy lowlifes.

That's exactly the point. Gene does not want to do hard work. He has also previously said that kind of work is beneath him.

Wow. I shouldn't be surprised, but I am.

He thinks his PayPal account will be out of the red "soon" (It's a "fake dispute" after all... sure). But rather than hasten that process, he needs to get his hands on your cash right now, so please use Western Union or a Moneygram to bail him out.

If he burns his bridges with PayPal, how much longer does he think he can keep his house of cards standing? The only solution, as ever, is for you to hand Gene your money.

Indeed he did say that type of work is beneath him. The thing is, when he is sitting on the curb with no place to live, he can use his new place of employment as a temporary shelter.

Well. Assuming any of this is more or less true. Of course. We can count on much of it not being true, I am sure.

He makes my blood boil more so when I read sentences like this 'So if you do send a PayPal donation to help out, it’ll go to replenishing the balance, not helping me with current expenses.' in his never-ending begging emails, goddam sack of shite that he is, he needs a good slapping of reality and brought back down to earth with a huge dose of humility.

To be honest, I hope he does end up on the streets, didn't do me any harm and I am a far better person for that awful experience and learnt some valuable life lessons along the way.

I went from earning £1000 per week in the early 90's to living on the streets with nothing but what I wore on my back to my name.

I was so ashamed that I could not beg like others on the street at the time. My attitude was, 'I got myself in this shite mess and it will be me and only me that gets me out of this shite mess'
I took any jobs I could to get me out of that situation, working in charity shops, working min wage, working several jobs etc.

If you have been receiving the messages from the start the basic pattern of his messages is always that he is in some kind of "temporary crisis" which will most definitely be solved by something which he (or more likely someone else since he is a lazy beggar) is currently doing:

This thing (call it "x") normally takes longer and longer with expected deadlines constantly being pushed back and during which time he keeps re-iterating the same nonsense that he just needs money to get through the current period until "x" is done.

Then eventually something happens which means that "x" does not succeed, either there is a further crisis which destroys it, it doesn't work out as planned or a malicious person did something else to him which prevented "x" being the saviour it was meant to be. Whatever happens is not his fault but usually the fault of some malice on the part of another person or his recent favourite - the vicious pack of online haters who have the near supernatural power to make everything he does fail.

Then he ends up back at step 1 with a new "temporary crisis" and a new solution "y", which will take time but he can get it done if you just send him enough money - blah, blah, blah and so the whole cycle begins again.

It's been going on for the last 10 years. Gene doesn't even seem to have the creativity or forethought to vary it much either.

It's like he thinks his marks have memories that don't go back beyond the current crisis and can't see what he is doing.

The truth is if solutions like "x" or "y" ever even exist they are always completely useless and don't have a hope in hell of succeeding - indeed this is so obvious in most cases that even a child could work it out and one must therefore question if they aren't simply lies that Squeemey uses to string people along and make them think that he is doing something to change the situation.

Today's epic saga makes about as much sense as any other day's tale of woe and oppression. Which is to say none at all. I always end up wondering how much money he actually takes in with these constant charmless, cynical, extremely improbable stories. Does he even get enough to make it worth the feeble effort he puts into them? Sure, there are way too many stupid people out there who send money to all manner of crooks, but how many people even read that shit?

There is plenty of evidence that he once tricked some people into sending him astounding amounts of money, but that was years ago when his con was less blatant and there weren't all these places to get real information about him with extreme ease. His reputation is in the toilet, the forum is now a joke, and his audience has to be all but gone. Like pretty much everything about this grifter, it just doesn't add up.

He's such an idiot, he wrote about his paypal being in the red, forgetting if people sent money to that it would pay off the overdraft, then it must have occurred to him that would happen, hence the following begging letters giving further instructions to bypass Paypal...Of course every bit of this could be bullshit, he could have been in a casino rolling the dice whilst all this discussion was going on yesterday, he certainly spends little to no time on his forum that he thinks is going to save him...

On the flip side, I make no money on this forum nor do I want to, in fact I have plans to expand and grow this place soon, and I am here every day mostly like any other member in some of the discussions and posting...

It appears there are a few sock puppets on his forum, for instance I think the user 'sand' is another sock puppet, he's in Arizona according to his profile and his posts write like Gene's newsletters...Just saying...Then there's all these new members that join in groups, 10 from New York within a short time, 8 suddenly join from Los Angeles and so forth...Seems he is shoring up numbers to give the appearance all is good whilst spending no real time using his name posting and building a better reputation for himself, in other words being genuine...I guess that's a tall order for a grifter...
