I think launch deadlines are always several years too optimistic in the space business (if not more than a decade, qv Virgin Galactic). Companies hawking technologies based on alternative physics, however, frequently turn out to be investment scams. I would not be surprised if a launch never actually goes ahead, and that new postponements keep getting announced over the launch of a simple cubesat.
