I was finally able to copy that UFO Trail post:

Gene is now claiming Cyber bullies contacted Uber and made a "false" claim

    It was me.

I contacted Uber yesterday and filed a complaint, But i used Genes own letters where he himself states that his tires were bald, and that his wheels needed alignment, and that by his own admission the rain was making that worse.

It was not a false claim, It was Genes own claim about his cars roadworthyness, i simply passed HIS claims on to Uber.

Gene himself has told the world his tires are bald and unsafe in the wet, The only way that can be a false claim, is if Genes claim itself was false.............

It wasn't done out of spite, it was done because Gene himself admitted that in the wet the situation was dangerous.

It is selfish and stupid (two words that should get a place on his tombstone) to put other road users and passengers at risk of an accident by driving on tires he knows are not safe and roadworthy.

It was the responsible thing to do.

Thanks that is not the one I thought you were talking about. I can't see this one for some reason.

Lol I can finally see it - for some reason the page wasn't refreshing for me. I would love to have been a fly on the wall for Gene seeing that! Gene must be fuming, if his bald tires thing was a lie then he has only hurt himself. So now he can't even pretend to drive for Uber. Eventually those lies catch up to you.

So I also spotted some other posts there that I hadn't previously seen that say that Gene's company "Making the Impossible" had its license revoked. According to them since that is the company name that both the Tech Night Owl and Paracast operate under it is illegal for them to continue to operate as businesses taking money and also for either of them to be sold. There is a lot of material so I won't copy it all here (the little snapshot should help you find the thread) but would love to hear others thoughts on that. It is not really something I know much about.

I half wonder if this is the reason that Steinberg was trying to sell the Tech Night Owl program. He could unload an illegal business on some unsuspecting person. Steinberg could make some cash and the new owner would be stuck with a worthless website.

I wouldn't put it past Steinberg to try and pull a scam like that.

Hmmm. I remain a little skeptical; it just seems very odd to me Gene would have gotten such specific feedback from Uber so quickly. But, if Anonymous is telling the truth, there you go. Unlike Gene, I can be wrong. ;)

These comments are interesting, from the UFO Trail blog:

October 4, 2018 at 3:18 PM

'Steinberg has run a false front for years. For a Nevada corporation to get to the "permanently revoked" status–it had to be in the "revoked" status for at least 5 years–which is the case for Making The Impossible, Inc, which the The Tech Nightowl operates under. The Paracast LLC is currently in the "revoked status.

Additionally, according to Nevada law, CHAPTER 86 - LIMITED-LIABILITY COMPANIES:

The name of a limited-liability company whose charter has been revoked, which has merged and is not the surviving entity or whose existence has otherwise terminated is available for use by any other artificial person.

This means of course that anyone could start a business/corporation under the Technight Owl name, or The Paracast. '

there is more to the comment but the concept of someone else filing as The Paracast makes me laugh.

Companies tend to take liability seriously these days. Imagine if Steinberg got into an accident and it came out that Uber was warned by email about Steinberg’s bald tires. Ouch!

Anyone know how long the licence has been revoked?

If Making the Impossible, Inc. has assets, and does not have a lien against them, Gene can sell.
Can a Nevada LLC that has a "permanently revoked" status transfer its assets?

I'd like to know what "assets" MTP has that can be sold as it is entirely online, there is no office or building that they own. There are no servers or infrastructure.

The old episodes themselves are probably worthless (particularly for TNOL, further for the Paracast surely Gene would need the permission of the co-hosts even if he could find a sucker to buy the episodes).

The only thing that could have been sold is the name/brand but those posts on UFO Trail suggest that isn't possible since the license has been revoked.

Creepy Green Light

Don't mistake lack of talent for genius
I like how he had to let us know that he paid 8 cents in sales tax on his cheeseburger. As if we are to believe that he truly & honestly only had $1 to his name (but thank God he had the 8 cents in his other pocket - otherwise McDonalds would have made him wash dishes).

Lol this was funny on twitter. You know how we say Gene doesn't have a sense of humour (well at least not one that anyone but he understands).

Well someone did a piss take and Gene responded like he was being serious with another tale of woe about how his bank screws him (wake up Gene everyone's bank screws them with charges, it's how they make so much money).

Wow. Gene grappling with the concept of being overdrawn. Yes Gene, the amount of the overdraft doesn't really matter at the low end, or at least, I've never had a bank account where I was told, "OK goblin, we can spot you $10 or so, no worries man. Your balance there? Always just mentally add +$10 to that, no problem." The balance is not a fuzzy number with the fuzziness working only in your favor.

Hey all! So I'm late to the party, but better than not making it right? Anyways I have been listening to Paracast from the beginning and admit I have enjoyed it up until recently. I always heard rumors about his financial begging but never really looked into it. All of a sudden last month I started getting the "emails". Even though Chris left the show long before he officially quit the show was still ok. Now it is a train wreck and despite having a subscription, I don't plan on listening unless a guest that I really like is on. I actually don't have the issues with Randall that a lot of people do. I think he is genuine, if not misguided.

Anyways, the lack of good shows and the new to me money issue has really turned me off from the show. I didn't block the emails because it actually makes me laugh. My question to you all, being that you obviously had an interest in the topics that were/are discussed on the show, what did you replace the Paracast with? I am looking for a new show that is worth listening to. What are ya'll recommendations. Thanks!

I bailed on the Paracast when Biedny left.

For paranormal podcasts, for discussions or interviews I like Where Did The Road Go?, Strange Familiars, Radio Misterioso, and Into the Fray some. For storytelling I like The Saucer Life and Unexplained. I liked Spooked too but it's seemed weak to me this year. YMMV. Good luck finding something you dig.

I have begun listening to Radio Misterioso and like it. I used to subscribe to Mysterious Universe a few years ago, but cut it to save some money. Might just go back to those guys from Aussie. Never heard of the other ones, will look into them. Thanks.

Mysterious Universe has a free version. That's what I listen to.

I listened to the free version, but then subscribed and I have to admit the paid content was worth it at the time. Anybody have thoughts on Micah Hanks Gralien Report? I have listened to it off and on over the years, but for some reason couldn't get into it consistently.
