I know I haven't been as active lately, Truthfully, I've been very active, Just doing different things, it's been a strange year, A lot of death in the family, It's made me reassess things like time and how important it is, So I've been spending more time offline, It's no form of depression, It's just a change up in activity.

Anyway, Tv is still pretty good, I haven't seen a lot of people going on about the new Dr who, And I admit, It's not as good so far as Capaldi's run, And let's face it, No one was going to be as good as Tennant's run.

I admit it's not as great as it could have been, But, It's a really old show, It's got history to it, I'm gonna watch it and hope it gets better, And I assume it will, The new doctor needs time to establish herself I guess.
Which I suppose is a fair statement Until you realize Tennant was instantly accepted in literal minutes,
Still, here is Episode 3 of the new series, At this point, she has her new companions, and the Tardis and the sonic screwdriver. doctor_who_2005.11x03.720p_hdtv_x264-fov.mkv.mp4 | openload

Enjoy, Or not, It's still Doctor who, It comes down to how dedicated a fan one is I suppose.

Fratty and out of touch.
Most people I know who liked the show preferred Tennant. As good as he was, I actually prefer Matt Smith. I haven't felt a connection to the show since he left. Something about his almost goofy, comical take on the doctor appealed to me.

My wife thought Matt Smith was better than Tenant as well, I don't know, I always thought Smith had a weird almost circus clown vibe to him, He wasn't terrible but I do feel he was the weakest of the modern series doctors even over the war doctor who only had that one movie lol

In fairness, the war doctor was badass though.

Haven't watched Doctor Who since Matt Smith. This was the point I lost interest.

From what I have seen it is yet another show that has jumped on the PC band wagon.

I can totally understand that Capaldi really was more of an issue than people realize, It's not that he was just not a good doctor, He was generic. Capaldi brought absolutely nothing unique to the role he spent his time imitating William Hartnell first doctor and then Jon Pertwee the Third, Capaldi was a fairly adequate actor, and he looked the part of the doctor, But He didn't really offer anything that was his own to the role.

The woman that played Missy, At first was a generic character, But then, She broke out into her own. She was awesome, By the end, Just like always, You end up seeing something redeeming in the Master.
