How Sleep Paralysis is Interpreted By Cultures Around the World - The Daily Grail.

Sleep Paralysis is one of my favorite subjects. If you're even just a little bit interested in the subject then by all means catch the movie The Nightmare released several years ago.

I've probably mentioned it several times now but when I was having my stroke I was slumbering and i woke up just like that in an instant I immediately realized I was paralyzed and assumed i was having an episode, it was a regular event for me. How wrong I was.

Ignorance isn’t bliss!
I've experienced it sporadically since childhood and had some crazy hallucinations.I think most "Alien Abductions" are due to this.

About 5 years ago I actually took a different approach to them and even found it to be an interesting experience. I actually kind of studied it, it was intriguing. After a bit I no longer was plagued by aliens pluking me from my bed but these events were followed by musical tones ( piano keys ?? )usually going down in pitch. And I could always tell when I was about to have an episode..

And I haven't had a single episode in 2 years.

I had it when I was a child. I Cured mine totally and have never had another episode since.

I was fortunate to attend this talk by Brian Sharpless. He's also written probably the best book on the topic.

For some reason that I still can't explain with me it was a regular occurrence so im on "steady ground" to say this occurred to me score's of times and like you I never saw anything but I would swear that there was somebody or something in the room with me but it (?) always disappeared as I was fighting to get back to consciousness.

first version can be downloaded on the web,
the second version is better, and is for sale at places like amazon

to sum up the ideas,
easy to get out, of your body,
harder to remember what the second copy of you did when it was out.
keep journeys short and you can remember them.
