Another holiday without much cheer!
Hello,

When I was a child, family gatherings were important. We all lived close by, some shared separate apartments in the same building, and thus we could maintain close relationships.

Grandparents and parents passed. As my cousins and nephews grew up, they took jobs and moved to other parts of the country. We gradually lost touch.

Some of you wonder if I have reached out to my family to help resolve my financial woes. Well, I have, but some of them are not in much better shape than I am. I’ve received some help, but not much is available.

In the meantime, I’m back at the same routine. The motel has to be paid by 11 AM each day to continue to stay here.

I’m still late on the cell phone, auto insurance and other bills. I’m fighting to catch up.

You can help me get past the money problems. Here’s how to send a donation:

For PayPal, please go to: Send Money, Pay Online or Set Up a Merchant Account - PayPal, login and use the Send to friends and family option. Enter my email address, gene@technightowl.com, and click or tap Next to continue the transaction.

Here’s another method if you’re not into using PayPal:

If you have an iPhone and iOS 11 or later, you can use Apple Pay Cash. You’d send the payment via the Messages app to: gene@theparacast.com

If you’re not able to send a donation, feel free to forward this message to someone who might assist.

If you have any questions about my living situation, please let me know.

Peace,
Gene

Sometimes Schemey-Speak can be hard to understand so here are some translations:

When I was a child, family gatherings were important.

"I figured out that family is quite important to normal (non sociopathic) humans at a very young age and I used that to my advantage by scamming them as much as possible."

We all lived close by, some shared separate apartments in the same building, and thus we could maintain close relationships.

"Life was good. I had multiple suckers in close reach and many of them would give me the benefit of the doubt even when I was obviously lying because they were family. Even if they didn't I would just turn on the waterworks, talk about family and promise them I'd changed and they would give me another chance - the idiots! So I did what any budding con man would do, I kept scamming them over and over again."

Grandparents and parents passed. As my cousins and nephews grew up, they took jobs and moved to other parts of the country. We gradually lost touch.

"I scammed my family members to the point that none of them want anything to do with me - some even died an early death as a result. Others moved away as far as possible so they wouldn't have to deal with me."

Some of you wonder if I have reached out to my family to help resolve my financial woes. Well, I have, but some of them are not in much better shape than I am. I’ve received some help, but not much is available.

"I ripped off most of my family members so badly that they couldn't help me even if they wanted to (and they definitely don't want to because they hate me). Most of them won't even talk to me. Even my son has been forced to move to the other side of the world to avoid interacting with me."

In the meantime, I’m back at the same routine. The motel has to be paid by 11 AM each day to continue to stay here.

"In the meantime it is still your job to pay for my lifestyle, so get a move on, I have TV shows to watch and expensive restaurant meals to eat. Your money is mine so be quick and send it along."

I’m still late on the cell phone, auto insurance and other bills. I’m fighting to catch up.

You can help me get past the money problems.

"I don't think you're very clever so I won't even make up some new bullshit to beg with. I'll just cut and paste because that is all you deserve."

Gene hopes we feel sorry for him and give him money. Sad violin plays over his tale of losing touch with his family; he doesn't mention anything about his relationship with his own son.

If he were a normal person I'd say it was odd that he would expect us to feel sorry that he alienated his own family by being a scumbag, but then we need to remember he is Schemey.

When I first met Gene he lived in the east (near his family). I think it was in the 80's he moved to Arizona. So it seems like he was the one who moved away from his family, not the other way around.

Presumably he needed to move away after he had exhausted (or bankrupted) all his family members and other local marks.

Genevia Hagen. His 1st wife.View attachment 5065

I saw her defending him this summer (or maybe spring) on Facebook, when he had his sham fundraiser going on there. I imagined at the time she must not understand the scope of his begging but who knows. I noticed she did say she has her own problems and couldn't give him any money. From memory she was happy to call people who question him trolls, and make weird and not helpful suggestions to him along the lines of, hang out in hotel lobbies (they're air conditioned) and maybe you or Barbara should feign a nervous breakdown to be hospitalized for awhile. Just odd.

Faking a nervous breakdown is fraud - it is incredibly expensive and would cost the taxpayer a huge amount of money but that is not the only cost. Those hospital places could be used by people in real psychiatric need - psychiatry is under provided as things are. Teddy Bear would likely need to go into a shelter in order to do that which would cost money and space to the already under funded and overstretched animal shelters. It beggars belief that any ethical and law abiding citizen could suggest this. I would put this suggestion in the same category as Gene trying to divert funds from hurricane victims. Absolutely disgusting.

Hanging out in hotel lobbies whilst not illegal is pretty scummy in itself if you aren't going to be renting a room there - presumably in order to do it you would need to lie about meeting someone who was staying there etc.

At no point did she even contemplate Gene getting a real job and helping himself. No the answer is to leech off others (including diverting resources from psychiatric services).

Put this together with the way she accused people who were asking legitimate questions of being trolls and it makes it pretty clear that she is cut from the same scammy cloth as Gene - to be honest she would have to be in order to be married to him.

Whilst I don't believe in bringing family members into the Crimeberg saga, when people start attacking potential victims who ask legitimate questions about Gene and further start suggesting new crimes for him to commit it seems they are putting themselves in the firing line.

The more we hear about the rest of the family the more it seems like Gene is not an anomaly.

Jeremy Vaeni tweeted this over at @SchemeGeneRC in response to Gene's latest whining email:

This makes me think two things.

First, all of the attention Gene has received and continues to get here, in comments on posts at the UFO Trail blog, and on tweets @SchemeGeneRC must be having some effect that Gene does not like. If so: good.

My guess of course is that his take from donations is down, and he imagines if everyone just shuts up about what a creep he is then the cash from the kind hearted but non clued in will start to flow again. Probably then he can be back in the Desert Mirage no problem, right? Sure!

Next, Gene really doesn't get that there is no organized movement or hate campaign working against him. All this attention is grass roots, just individuals disgusted and befuddled by his crummy behavior.

I know it makes no sense that anyone could declare a financial crisis in emails a few times a month... then a few times a week... occasionally a couple of times a day... to populations consisting of many of the same people for years on end, and that people would just get fed up with it and start to ask questions. Shocking. You'd think they'd all just keep donating money for each new crisis, without end, never noticing or commenting on all the inconsistencies or the very unusual reality that... the need is always urgent.

Yes Gene, the world's dumbest grift has run its course and is coming to a natural end. There is no conspiracy, dude. You're the only shady character in this mix. You want the discussion of your crap to stop? Then cut the crap! Stop stealing from people.

Sadly it will never happen.

In Gene's twisted logic he has never done anything wrong, indeed, he is the single person in history who is incapable of ever doing anything wrong - just try to pin him down on any wrong doing and you will swiftly see what I mean.

As a result of that the rest of the world and the "haters" must be the ones in the wrong and as a result they are the ones who are committing a crime.

- It is the paradoxical attitude of the madman who presumes the whole rest of the world has gone mad and he is the only sane one.

So he will keep trying to continue the scam and complaining that he is the victim in it all.

- Saint Gene, most perfect human ever to exist, he who can do no wrong, constantly persecuted by the forces forces of evil for no reason at all.

This gives him two things:

Firstly an excuse to keep doing what he does - because using his twisted logic the reason he can't make money is not because he refuses to do a job, it is because he is being persecuted. Remember he is perfect, he can't do anything wrong, therefore all the problems in his life must be due to other people.

Secondly it gives him the sense of inflated self-importance that his ego is desperate for. He becomes special like his heroine Supergirl.

Therefore I think nothing will ever change except for the fact that more and more people will wise up to his game and his donations will slow down further and further.

In my opinion Gene's pathological behaviour will continue until he dies (but given his bizarre thinking I wouldn't be surprised if he thinks that he will magically live forever much like many teenagers do until they have their first brush with death).

I realize I may seem pretty harsh on Gene above, but I think the evidence is clear that he is comfortable burning others - landlords and lenders. And that he has no plans to change those ways. Indeed he seems to be actively striving for opportunities to do it again, just by not changing any of his behavior.

I found whatever natural sympathy I might have had for him start dying past Spring when I saw how he attacked and threatened and lied when people just relayed the truth about his behavior.

Then once I saw his history of evictions and his bankruptcy filing alongside his history of begging, it seemed clear there was no helping him, that giving him any cash donation was like throwing the money away.

Seeing more details on Gene's history with Beizer demonstrated how dishonest he has been and how skewed his perspective may be.

The Torson case info, and the Beizer letter there, were just additional damning details filling in an already awful picture.

Nothing adds up, there is nothing he says you can trust. Well, except that he'll continue to crank out two more podcast episodes each week.

Stare..... They are always staring
I don't know if it's an apt analogy but seeing Gene's "excuses" reminds me of Rudy Giulani' weak... even insipid... defense of ole carrot-top.

When speaking about Steinberg, you can’t be harsh enough. People need to understand how he has repeatedly ripped off others without any thought of remorse.
