Is barely enough cash an emergency?

View attachment 5098

His messages look more and more like they are just random excerpts from previous messages.

We’re going into the long holiday weekend with barely enough cash to cover our needs.
I'm almost always in the situation where I have barely enough cash to cover my needs. I'd say most people are especially around Christmas and we may also be heading into another recession.

This has to be one of the most bizarre statements ever.

He is implying that not only is it the responsibility of everyone else to cover his basic expenses but they must make sure that he has MORE than that so he can presumably live more luxuriously than they do.

I mean there is entitled, insanely entitled and there is Gene Steinberg.

You should donate to him so he can have a more comfortable and enjoyable Christmas than you are because he is Schemey and he deserves it more than you. Remember the only reason you work and save is so that Gene can have a good life.

All other needs are secondary. Absolutely disgusting and I bet it doesn't even register in the slightest to him how this comes across.

As usual, bills are late.
So once again passive voice as if it is something that happens like the weather. He is even giving a nod to the fact that this is always the case. Of course he won't give a nod to the fact that it is all of his doing - if it is true and not simply a lie.

Yeah... saying you have enough cash to cover your needs hardly strikes me as grounds for declaring a state of emergency. I think he got a little turned around on this one. (I would say better luck next time, Gene, but, I don't really wish you luck at all. I wish you'd get your act together, stop begging, and stop putting yourself, your family and even your mailing lists through all this pointless bullshit. There is no emergency.)

He did add a little Christmas greeting at the bottom of the message to the forum mailing list, I saw.

Yes I think reading the feedback on here and on SchemeGeneRC has lifted his social skills to the level of a 10 year old child. That's a big improvement on what it was but there is a long way to go.

I'm not hedging my bets on this one. With people dropping out of the administration left and right and the market dropping every day the Wall Street dudes are going to start getting awfully shaky.

time for some tonge in cheek speculation:
during the 1960's there were reports coming in of clones of popular UFO investigators being seen in places they weren't, one of those ufologists was of course, james moseley
does this mean that gene had his own clone made by the cosmic trickster?
hmmmm

Thankfully no. I think two Gene Steinbergs would cause the world monetary system to collapse with their dual money black holes.

Also helps that Nick clearly doesn't give a crap about who he is propping up by going on the show. He has books to sell so it is irrelevant to him. Maybe if Kim Jong Un does a podcast he will go on that too. So far I've bought all his books on Kindle. Won't be buying any more.

I am looking forward to the New Years recap in which Gene thanks all those who helped him in the past year; thanks the Senior Center for the many meals he and Barbara enjoyed; tells us how far he has gotten on the waiting list for a number of subsidized senior housing units; shares a great review he got from Lyft or Uber; announces a complete line of Teddy Bear products and signed copies of Vietnamese dongs at his new Paracast store; apologizes for taking money under false pretenses ever since he solicited donations for Stephen Beizer; shares a letter of thanks from the hurricane victims he helped; vows to stop further emails and to repay James Torson.

But perhaps such miracles only happens in movies.

The obligatory Christmas Eve post. I bet he puts one out tomorrow too.

Also I think when Gene says "lonely" I don't think he is talking about people - he doesn't care about people. If he valued people he wouldn't have driven them all away. I think what he is actually talking about is money - Gene loves the company of cold hard cash.

He is lonely so it is your job to fix that with money.

Now get to it!

Another lonely holiday!
Hello,

The holiday season has always been slow for me when it comes to cash flow for subscriptions and ads.

I have the usual problems: Getting enough to cover the motel, and trying to catch up on late bills.

The family gatherings for the holidays are long ago and far away.

In the meantime I’m trying, but I need some help.

Here’s how to send a donation:

For PayPal, please go to: Send Money, Pay Online or Set Up a Merchant Account - PayPal, login and use the Send to friends and family option. Enter my email address, gene@technightowl.com, and click or tap Next to continue the transaction.

If you’re not able to send a donation, feel free to forward this message to someone who might assist.

If you have any questions about my living situation, please let me know.

And thanks for all the good wishes and support. I hope you have a great holiday.

Merry Christmas,
Gene

No one pities Gene half so much as Gene pities himself.

Cash flow from “subscriptions and ads” are slow during the holiday season? Sure.

Try being grateful for something for a change maybe, Gene.

This is just what I want to hear the day before Christmas. “I’m still broke and needing cash.” Granted the message is the same as the past 15 years. And by the way Gene, I’m damn sure you read these posts, how about these simple words. “Thank you.” I am very sure you have never uttered them all this time of begging others for money. The words would probably stick in your throat. The idea of all these people keeping you afloat. And yet, not one word of thanks from you. It figures....

So true. I think even if he realises that being more grateful and thanking people may actually make his begging more effective his over entitled ego wouldn't allow it - why should the great Gene Crimeberg ever thank anyone - in his mind the whole world owes him and should be thanking him.

He has to make himself sound as pathetic, in-need and victimized as he can. If he seems grateful, we might not register we are receiving a plea from a man in the desperate circumstances of, how did he put it the day before yesterday? Oh yes. A man with enough cash to cover his needs.

Also is anyone else surprised that Christmas was ever much of a holiday for Gene or his family? Hanukkah perhaps. (Which always seemed a pretty cool holiday to me, from the outside looking in.)
