How much do you want to believe that Steinberg took the money he received and blew it all. He had to beg again for basic living funds. He is a total waste to the human race.

some days ago I joked that Gene wanted people to go to Walmart and buy ITunes cards.. well Gene DID send someone to Walmart for a MoneyGram and acted like a classic scammer! here is the tale from UFO trail.

I was taken in as well. I had been receiving as a Paracast subscriber these heartbreaking emails. I believed. On 10/1/18 I sent $250.00 to Mr. Steinberg via having to actually go down to a Walmart at night in rather a not nice part of town, stand in line, and Moneygram him the money. I had emailed him back when he emailed me that I was sending the money, and he actually called my phone to be sure I was going.
The money was picked up almost instantly after I sent him the tracking number.
I didn't Google about these emails and find the UFO trail article until after.
That was not bad enough. He actually called my phone again 10/3/18 ; I saw the name in my answer phone window, and waited for his message: he asked me if I could send some more cash.
Sad.
Sad to say that this shows gene is 100% a scammer.

I wonder if this year Gene will start blatantly asking for money to pay his Casino debts. He has to keep ratcheting up the pressure to hook people. Maybe he will start making use of that storyline - "If I don't pay $500 towards my Casino tab by Friday Big Jimmy will break my legs. Here's how you can help and the need is urgent:"

Well he did say the motel was only paid through Saturday. But even with his cell phone back so he could resume ride sharing, the hope that he could save for an apartment that would be willing to rent to a person with his history seems as illusory as ever.
Now it's back to the usual. Sigh.

Considering his audience must be nearly the same for these each day, who is left to believe his sob stories at this point?
And yet if it didn't occasionally still pay, why would he still do it? Hmmm.
I'm convinced there is no crisis, no emergency, no urgent need. Gene is fine and can take care of himself. Or if he's conceding he can't care for himself (and based on the evidence he's supplied there's an argument to be made) then it's not a matter for the hapless members of his e-mail lists to resolve. Gene: stop grasping for dollars and get real help, or at least stop complaining about circumstances you create and sustain by design.

It seems to have reached a point now where there is no real storyline creation going on. He just reads what is written here and responds to it. Begging is (presumably) the only paying job he has and he can't even put any genuine effort in to that. He is the embodiment of laziness.

But he will keep in "suspense" until the next email about how the motel needs to be paid, grocery stores charge money, maintenance is due for his car, there are still things in storage, or how he needs to get through this until the new Paracast store solves everything.

Looks like he is going for a new record in 2019. Nothing will happen. He will not be out on the street and there will be no explanation for why. Tomorrow he will be begging again as if this never happened. His reset button is worse than most low quality TV shows.

Last June, I emailed Gene with a number of concerns - from the information I had discovered about Beizer's record to what we had learned from his bankruptcy. I asked if he had an exit plan because what he was doing was not working - he needed to make some hard choices and change his life - whether it be applying for affordable housing or a job. The things I was posting here and at the UFO Trail.
Among other matters, the letter stated, "How much did you need... it's always vague." The next fundraising appeal (probably through the past donor list) I got had a specific figure.
It might have been the only thing in my letter that actually got his attention - if only that once. He ignored my request to be taken off his lists and asked why I cared about this.
