UFOs Anti Gravity Piece for a jigsaw by L G Cramp
Turning round to the left, he stood stock still and terror stricken; 6
or 7 metres above the earth an object was hovering. The object
resembled two bowls put one on top of the other, ashen in colour and of
a diameter thought to be about 8.50 metres. The object passed over
Signor Zuccala and settled 6 or 7 metres away from him at a height
of 2.50 metres from the earth. A cylinder of diameter about 1.50 metres
was let down from the lower side of the machine until it touched the
ground.
Signor Zuccala had the impression that the cylinder, once it had
touched the ground, re-entered the machine again, leaving exposed one
side of the cylinder in which a door opened slowly, while two small
doors were gliding towards the outside. There may have been two
cylinders gliding within the other

If you can get hold of it, do. It's actually a bit of a gem, and despite the lurid front cover, a closely observed and reasoned in depth scientific analysis. Not the standard I can exclusively reveal nonsense by A Muppet

it indeed sounds legit, i ain't talking bad about the book itself (mostly because i have never heard of it) but the general concept of trying to find the propulsion of the UFOs, no report is like the other, in some the UFO has a strange "shimmering" effect like hot asphalt, in others there is observable gravitational lensing around the UFO, in others there is clearly plasma around the craft and in yet others, there is nothing at all! just a metallic object defying the laws of physics
another dead end is trying to find evidence for propulsion in the shape of the UFOs, but in reality UFOs of all shapes, sizes and colors have been reported, so that too seems meaningless

Agreed but ground effects may be an approach to the field inducers in operation:
If the G. field was low in intensity, as might be at the beginning of a
slow take off, then similarly the extension of the field might be restricted
within the confines of the craft's structure, i.e. low intensity field, low
extension of field as with a bar magnet. Therefore when the machine
took off, surrounding air would be displaced as it is with a conventional
aircraft, and if an observer were to be close, he would detect a swishing
noise. This has frequently been the case.
When the propulsion field was high in intensity as when the vehicle
was making a high speed run, then we would expect the same rule to
apply, i.e. high intensity field, high extension of field and therefore we
could expect it to noticeably extend beyond the confines of the craft's
structure. And therefore we would also expect the surrounding air in
contact with the surface of the disc to receive the same 'thrust' as the
vehicle itself and move along with it. As the field strength fell off at
greater distances from the originating source, we would expect the local
air in these regions to receive proportionally less 'thrust'. Therefore
there would be formed a molecular shearing effect, or velocity gradient.
We would also expect that the vehicle would suffer no aero-dynamic
heating through friction, although undoubtedly there would be a tempera-
ture rise due to the shearing effect, which in turn might produce an effect
similar to sonoluminescence, the well known laboratory phenomenon
sometimes produced by ultrasonic experiment. Even so one would
expect this large volume of continually shearing and changing air to act as
a heat sink. In general terms then we could say, high speed flight, no
noise. But, and this is important, should there be a power failure at
high speed, then the tilted machine would virtually collide with an un-
yielding wall of air, which would almost certainly cause it to break up, or
even volatise should it be travelling at hypersonic velocity. In which case
there would be generated an enormous shock wave, heard over several
miles of countryside below. I do not have to remind my well informed
readers that there are on record sightings of sky phenomena which may
well explain such occurrences.

ABC's of Quantum Mechanics by V. Rydnik (Author), George Yankovsky (Translator), 2001

An expanded translation of the original Russian book (1963).
Over the years I've tried numerous lucid tomes in my quest to understand some of this. Here the clever prose keeps you awake and the analogies lift it.
A few of the concepts even got levered into my surprised brain.
To take two extreme cases, a shiny metallic surface and a piece of black velvet.
The metal reflects almost all the light that falls on it, while the velvet absorbs most of the light and hardly reflects any.
Mag1cians make good use of th1s property of velvet, for if an object does not reflect much light it is practically invisible on the stage.
A box covered with black velvet on a black background goes quite
unnoticed, and the magician can go through all kinds of tricks with handkerchiefs, p1geons and even himself appearing and disappearing.

I am just finishing "Not Dead Yet", by Phil Collins. I'm not quite sure why I picked this book up. I wasn't a Genesis fan or a fan of his solo work. The first half of the book was quite good. He describes his early life and the beginnings of Genesis.

The last half of the book leaves a lot to be desired. Collins went through 3 marriages and numerous lovers. Phil tries to gloss over these events as if he were a teen aged boy who constantly had a hard-on. In short, it wasn't his fault, it was those raging hormones.

This would basically be a good read for those fans of Collins work.

There was a particular store that had the book Communion by Whitley Strieber placed in the checkout aisle as a potential impulse buy. It was positioned in such a way that you couldn't miss it as you turned down the aisle and it was nearly at eyelevel. I strongly suspect they track people that purchase or look at it for an extended period to identify abductees.

The Soviet UFO files by P. Stonehill
s_ufo1.png
It was a clear night, in June 1953, when Dodin walked back to his winter hut at the Ishimba River. All of a sdden Dodin heard a high pitched noise, as if inside his brain. Then he saw the object emitting the sound. Dodin could clearly see its rotating drum like body. The hull was girded with something that resembled a moving staircase with many steps.

just finished "project beta", it wasn't quite what i expected and frankly it got boring in some chapters and in some ways the book looked incomplete, as if the author could have found more information if he dug better
i would give it a 6/10
there also was the problem that in some ways, the author gave too much trust to rich doty, wich all veteran ufologists know is a very very bad idea

In your opinion, is the story told in this book true?

He tends to mix facts with fiction. I've listened to him for years as a guest on C2C and he always seems to mention the semen extraction saying "I was raped!" He described that they masturbated him and the gray asked him what he wanted it to be as far as producing a screen image that would help with the extraction. Another thing he always covered was he placed a shotgun near his bed and on at least one occasion the grays came to take him and one was wearing metal body armor over its torso. He said they returned him one night before they took him and he saw himself sleeping in bed. I read his book 'The Grays' and it seemed mostly fictional. It has been a long time since I read Communion.

I suspect they asked Whitley to write a book(s) about his experiences as part of a disclosure agenda. The gray abductee Jim Sparks was asked to write a book 'The Keepers'. He claims the earth is at an environmental tipping point and secrecy is secondary. He describes mass abductions where people are forced to watch videos showing the degradation of the planet. Jim was taken for years before he found out his wife was also taken. During one experience they walked him down a hall and showed him his wife in a room learning an alien alphabet. During their nonabduction time he confronted her about them and she said "Oh, my helpers from heaven." That's how she viewed them. They use screen images of beings within someone's belief system to smooth the experience. It's often said that being taken by the grays is less traumatic than being taken by the military in reabduction interrogations. The difference is millions of years of experience verse decades.

Whitley & Art Bell collaborated on the book 'The Coming Global Superstorm.' which was made into the movie 'The Day After Tomorrow.' Considering recent events this scenario may come to pass.

there is a large PDF a man made a while ago that pointed all the problems and errors in whitley's "the key", sadly i lost it, but i guess if you search for it in google, you will find it eventually
