All the ques direct me to believe this person was informed about this thread by an insider. My assumption is Anders is part of genes staff on paracast. I assume the Ip to be legitimate, Ip tools will tell you if he is using a VPN.

In contemplation, This is little more than excitement, I don't believe Anders means any Harm, And let us be real, We can all use a little excitement every now and then.

Consider this, In this one day, This thread has been a source of interests for many. It's a win-win on every front.

Trust me, I have seen the backends of The Paracast & Tech Night Owl including the stores
and the banner ads/clicks... Unless Gene earns cash on his books (that CAN'T be much!) there's no way for him to be
making any serious money, nor even just a tiny bit of money.

The products were not good, it's incredibly hard to sign up at Paracast+ so it has almost no conversions.
Requires MANY paying members just to get a little money from it...

To me, from getting a good glimpse behind the scenes, it makes absolutely perfect sense that Gene is completely and utterly BROKE, UNLESS he has not disclosed any lucrative income stream, which I'm currently not aware of.

The structure of our relationship is conducted in a way, so I'm not in danger of losing money on this.
Gene has been very welcoming to my ideas and granted me access to sensitive data, with complete trust.

I really hope that this could all turn around and we would love your support at the store!

All very curious - lots of little things that are not quite right. I’m sure it’s a put up job - maybe not GS or JRM in person but a cohort for sure. If this “Anders” is someone who has a new business relationship with him then he’s obviously been very naive, but at least he has some food for thought and might start to enlighten himself if genuine. Also a bit like JRM has done in recent postings, maybe he won’t be thanked for revealing some inner details about the current state of affairs.

I know it’s a small detail - but he never addressed the “Denmark” question. This could be important because an explanation would have been revealing - it will have to be changed for a start, but does this mean that “Anders” is located there (he did hint not in USA/Canada) in which case he has nothing at all to do with dispatching the goods, personal quality inspections etc - it’s all drop shipped junk. Anyway a small slip but possibly a major blunder

And changed to which law I wonder? Also a site that has no physical address or legal entity identification details (not just a trade name) - would anyone really do business with suchlike? By the way are all of GS’s LLC’s as mentioned on Paracast site in current good standing ?

Also what’s “AL-Tech” when it’s at home ? As we say over here.

In summary it’s all rather shabby and dubious, dressed up to be something it’s just not - faux entities, faux products, boiler plate legalese, manipulated/deleted “reviews” - wouldn’t touch it with the proverbial barge pole

This individual called Anders D is in Denmark (no doubt the computer he was using to access this site is in Denmark) and most likely doing his work on that store from there and maintaining it from Denmark...

Well, if someone were to use TeamViewer or some other remote connection software its possible he was controlling a remote computer to give a false location...Doing something like that would be very trollish and pathetic...

I will admit this Anders is not the person associated with the Anders profile on the Paracast forum. So, not who I thought he was.

I believe GS is having problems and feel a bit odd about the pile-on. His affairs should be his own concern but he does go to great lengths to make them everyone else's.

Signing up with the P+ wasn't all that hard and I wanted to find a more conventional way to provide support. I have made donations to other podcasts in the past and never, not once have any of them ever solicited me in that fashion. My reward for doing so as a P+ member was to have my activities restricted on the forum - and that had absolutely nothing to do with terms of service, something I said just pissed off GS. Obvious. He could have just as easily sent me a quick email. I left because his and Randall's responses were lame and disingenuous - and the show really wasn't holding my interest at all anymore. A shame, at one time I liked it quite a bit. Nothing lasts forever.

I used to frequent a local diner and one day the food took a turn. I hung in a while and made a few suggestions which were ignored so I just went elsewhere - maybe I'll stop back in to see if they corrected the problems. They are free to run their business as they see fit and I have no obligation to hang in there while they figure it out.
