I think he was told the last time he appeared. Obviously doesn't care. Another person in Ufology to add to the list of people who doesn't care about associating with scammers.

yes well he seems to shift a lot of ufo-related merchandise himself, so I guess it's all about the money. It's show business folks

Today's Turd Talk:

I'm running on empty again!

Hello,

After giving the car required scheduled maintenance, several thousand miles late, I’m living on fumes.

PayPal is down to less than $7.00.

As usual the motel requires payment by 11 AM Arizona time to stay here.

I could really use some help today.

To send a donation, please login to: Send Money, Pay Online or Set Up a Merchant Account - PayPal, login and use the Send to friends and family option. Enter my email address, gene@technightowl.com, and click or tap Next to continue the transaction.

Our marketing person is still busy adding items to the new Tech Night Owl Store (www.technightowl.store), and a Paracast Store will be up soon. If you buy merchandise it will also help my cash flow. I also welcome your subscriptions to The Paracast Plus (www.theparacast.com/plus/) or The Tech Night Owl Plus (www.technightowl.com/plus/).

Thank you for reading and for your past support.

Peace,
Gene

Well genius, if you can't afford to run the car you should get rid of it. Even a five year old kid could figure that out. Not you though.

PayPal is down to less than $7.00.
As you often like saying, that is none of our business.

As usual the motel requires payment by 11 AM Arizona time to stay here.

What a shocking development. I could never have predicted that.

I could really use some help today.

The only help that would fix things is for someone else to take over your finances and force you to get a real job but since you are a living turd it will never happen.

I'm looking forward to Turdboy putting the Beatles' "Taxman" into one of his e-begs. Would be a risky a manoeuvre given the likelihood that he doesn't declare his tax liabilities but Schemy is not the brightest spark.

Reading the now hundreds and hundreds of these letters, The target market can only be some new and unsuspecting sucker from his forum mail-list. Someone whos just signed up and with no vast body of reference such as documented here and other places, actually buys the BS and sends money.
People who have previously "helped" have most likely done so in that context. A one off helping hand, for what looks like an unexpected and sudden hardship.

No one is going to sign up for a regular weekly donation, a tithed percentage of their own weekly income.
If in fact he could con just 7 people into giving him 100 dollars a week, every week. His motel bills and food would be paid for free and clear.

But once you've read a half dozen or so of these, alarm bells go off. Once you realise that its been hundreds of them over a span of years, you know its a scam.

These are clearly aimed like spam or a phishing scam at some unsuspecting newbie. You see this playing out in the paranormal Davey saga.

Like sweet sue, hes hoping for his along came Jones moment, some unsuspecting sucker like Torson to give him a huge amount of money.

    Until then

A bad motel manager called Salty Sam was chasin' poor Sweet Sueberg
He trapped him in the old sawmill and said with an evil laugh,
"If you don't Pay me by 11AM
I'll saw you all in half!"
And then he grabbed him (and then)
He tied him up (and then)
He turned on the bandsaw (and then, and then!)

    And then along came Jones.....

Salty Sam was tryin' to stuff Sweet Sueberg in a burlap sack
He said, "if you don't pay your storage bills
I'm gonna throw you on the railroad tracks!"
And then he grabbed him (and then)
He tied him up (and then)
He threw him on the railroad tracks (and then)
A train started comin' (and then, and then!)

    And then along came Jones....

When you look at the totality of these messages its the same old shoot-'em-up and the same old rodeo, day after day, week after week, year after year. Who could take it seriously. Whos his target market ?

Like a phishing scam its that one gullible person, out of hundreds of email recipients unaware its all a scam. The BIL did it to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

So keep posting, keep the name Gene Steinberg high in the google rankings as a scammer. Keep using disposable socks to warn new forum members.

The time you donate to this matter is the only "worthy cause" in this sad saga.

Today's Turd Talk is a particularly lazy affair:

An urgent request!
Hello,

I’m working hard, but I’m running way short to cover the motel today.

It’s due at 11 AM Arizona time. It’s always pay up or leave.

I could really use some help.

Peace,
Gene

Hmmm, I think this makes a five-day streak for Gene.

As for the comment from UFO Trail with the "Along Came Jones" rewrite, I always imagine Gene picks up loyalists for short stretches of time. I agree it's hard to imagine anyone truly sticks with him, in terms of giving him money, long term, considering his demands never end and somehow his need is always called urgent.

What a piece of work.

I typed the words “Gene Steinberg” and “scam” into Google. You can well imagine what returns I got back. Can you imagine typing your name into Google and seeing all the articles that come back describing you as a scam artist and a fraud. I doubt Steinberg even blinks an eye towards such stuff. How sad that he is so far removed from reality. His only hope these days is to prey on unsuspecting souls for a handout.

We can only hope those people giving him money catch on quickly that Steinberg is a lowlife who will never turn his life around. The money that is given to him is going straight down a pisshole, never to accomplish anything good.

All this criticism and I think Gene still believes he's dealing with less savvy posters than himself on Usenet. He gets it, we don't. He just needs to dismiss us as trolls and "the hate pack"; he can even spin the criticisms as attacks which both minimizes their legitimacy, but still lets him play victim.

I don't think he gets the dynamic he's actually in, both in real life and on the Internet.

Where is that screenshot from?

That’s on the TechNightOwl store - I’ve even chatted to him a few nights ago as I’ve said previously. It’s kinda fun as he does give little snippets away. Give it a try, but don’t put in your email address unless you want to be a GS donor
