Gene Steinberg's Financial Shenanigans @ Paracast forums

I'm trying to picture Randall & Gene as saving the paracast from it's watery grave and I just can't do it.....

So what do we do/say if Randall-Bot comes nosing around here? He's going to want someone to teach the ways of the force.

So if I got this correctly Grosso bailed early (?) And it may have been because of that pompous twit?

It was two egos bumping against one another like a pair of Thanksgiving Day parade balloons. Grosso's tether gave way first. Randall's is securely tied to Gene and isn't going anywhere.

I had a listen to this one and in this case it appears to be a rare situation where the Undymanic Duo were in the right.

The guest seemed to be a new age know-it-all who expected everyone to just accept his opinion on everything (the exact thing that Randall normally does although he at least tries to explain his point of view first before becoming dogmatic).

The guy seemed unwilling to explore any alternative explanation beyond his own paranormal bias. His basic philosophy seemed to be that if anything unusual happens there must be a paranormal explanation. Even if there are other possibilities we MUST accept the supernatural/paranormal explanation - just because he knows it is right.

The craziest bit was when he talked about a book he had written about some saint/religious figure who could (allegedly) levitate and lived a couple of hundred years ago.

He expected everyone to believe it without question like he was talking about a guy who could play the guitar really well rather than breaking the laws of physics as we currently understand them.

It would be hard enough to believe if he was saying he knew the guy and personally witnessed it, but no, this was a historical case and he wouldn't countenance that the passage of time and the temporal separation from the sources reduced its veracity in the slightest.

I think Randall brought up a valid point about how we can't be sure it was not an illusion or a trick (like David Copperfield) but Grosso seemed to get really angry at this (without making a single rational argument to back up his claims) and tried to change the subject.

I think he expected the George Snoori treatment where the host just accepts everything he says no matter how outrageous even if it contradicts what the host agreed with previously.

I find it hard to imagine how someone so nutty could be affiliated with any university. I think his sudden need to leave was because he simply couldn't deal with anyone questioning him at all.

He had no rational or logical evidence to back anything he said up beyond saying that he had spent thirty years studying this and so we should just accept what he said and acting like a petulant child.

His dismissal of the various near death studies like AWARE was utterly incredible in its ignorance.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was one of these frauds like Imbrogno who made up his qualifications so he could just sell books and become an authority on the typical new age consciousness pseudoscience garbage which certain people seem to crazy for.

I think Constance would have been a better guest.

The show was boring but in this case I think the blame rests as much with the guest as the hosts.

Anyway I wish I could get those two hours back.

I wish GS would simply delete my forum account then I could just leave it all be, he’s totally delusional and will never change his ways. He truly believes that his just innocently and sincerely “asking for donations”. I had quite a long pm session with him which I won’t bore you’s with except the final messages following

When will a tv producer develop a series around Gene Steinberg? The episodes will have titles like "Casino Blues" and "Another New Co-host" and "Teddy Bears Adventure" and "In The Nick Of Time"..

Quite a while ago, I posted the URL to this forum on your Paracast profile page. Today I got a notice that it was deleted because links to "hate sites" are not allowed.

I didn't want to get into the content too much - mostly because there wasn't much to begin with. Randall is relatively new to this and could maybe get a pass, or something, for not knowing how to deal with a prima donna.

Pity there wasn't a seasoned co host with many hundreds of episodes to their credit nearby who might've shaped the conversation a bit.

Oh wait, there was one of those nearby.

Well we have known the old fraud was monitoring this site for quite a while, but I suppose he doesn't even care to pretend otherwise by now. Too funny!

Interviewing is an art. Very few people in any of the fringe areas know their ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to doing a decent interview. It's rare enough out there in the mainstream. Like waiting tables, it isn't rocket science but you have to have some aptitude and work at developing skills before you are any good at it. That last part puts Schnorrberg out of the running, even if he had any talent.

The conman can't stand this thread being active, most likely because a search of his name and this thread pops up FIRST and it will remain at the top of search results Gene for as long as you keep up your scams...

Did he tell you how long you are banned for?
No - but I think he’s done me a favour really - I’ve said all I wanted to say in quite a few pm’s in there. I’ve always responded to any of his replies/lies but I’ve no personal skin in the game so I’ll leave it be. But keep up the public awareness guys !
