Just got this TTSA update email:

Since launching To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science in 2017, our investors have helped us build a solid foundation for the company’s entertainment, science and aerospace divisions, with notable milestones including the following:
  • The Entertainment Division released a number of highly-anticipated sequels to its novel franchises, its Strange Times television series is currently in development at TBS and is set to go into production this year, and the company’s key personnel is featured in a six-part docu-series on A+E’s History Channel titled Unidentified: Inside America's UFO Investigation, which has been viewed by over 1 million people each episode and has been influential socializing the UFO conversation in mainstream media by credible journalists

  • The Science Division launched THE VAULT (formerly called the Community of Interest), the start of our public-facing database for Unidentified Aerial Phenomena events, as well as the A.D.A.M. Research Project, dedicated to analyzing materials that could provide insight into exotic technologies

  • The Aerospace Division hired two highly qualified employees from the public and private sides of the aerospace/defense industry, whose backgrounds added value to the company with their contributions to research & development and technical expertise, and entered into a statement of work with EarthTech International, Inc. to prepare plans, perform scientific analysis and advise the company on and beamed energy propulsion launch systems
Following our experiences and successes in 2017 and 2018, we’ve opened a second round of funding for investors looking to join us as we sharpen our focus on projects likely to lead to commercial viability while also pushing human knowledge and capability forward.

Let's see, a past interest in beamed energy propulsion systems by the US military - X-Descending and Project Beta come to mind. What little has been published on it publicly suggests technology in its infancy yet I can't help but wonder what may have developed in secret fertilized by billions of dollars, untold resources and some political/military imperative.

Incongruously the group that has been shrieking about the unacknowledged presence of UAPs, AAV s - how about freaking flying saucers from beyond for f***'s sake - wants some more dough from us to look into beamed energy propulsion systems. Of all things, imagine that. Because they brought it up, along with metamaterials. Why exactly?

Public disclosure seems more like a potential byproduct of what they are doing not their driving motivation.

And THE VAULT ? Really? Did John Greenewald piss them off that much?

Also Tom Delonge is listed as an interim CEO, I think they are looking to replace him...

Hadn’t caught that. Interesting. Unsurprising

Maybe they're trying to show more professionalism or control the narrative a bit more, who knows...He has said a lot of things on twitter alone and deleted those posts soon after...Can't tell if he's throwing bread crumbs or taking heat from things said and told to delete...

Seems like the initial hububbery over TTSA has lost some of its inertia, at least on this forum.

I'd like to ask a question of those who initially contributed $$ to TTSA: any regret? Would you continue to do so when asked? 'Cause they're asking.

I've been recently disappointed and perhaps that's because I was carrying a generous amount of expectations and that was partly due to the hype that was being generated by them and by others following their 'work'...So what became of these metamaterials, what was the point of the mini series, what is their agenda, not the hyped up one, but really, from a professional business perspective, what are their specific goals and and plans for achieving those goals?...As you mentioned, they are asking for money again, so these are legitimate questions...

As above, so bellow
Research costs big money, they should ask for more. One can not tie up research to profit margins. For them integrity of their reports is paramount and they are doing a good job there. Nobody wants them to start saying that some old piece of scrap metal is actually of alien origin.

So why dont they ask Bigelow, doesnt he usually fund these kinds of things? Or did that spring run dry?

Btw when you mix entertainment and science, that aint good. I just want the facts, if they have any.

If they would just show something that stands out, that survives scrutiny, they would have all the intrest and money they could want coming their way. But if its exuses like "its all classified", what the hell does it matter then, if youve allegedly seen it but cant show it. Might as well be the holy grail then.

Show, dont tell.

I wonder how the whole 'Unexplained' adventure turned out for TTSA financially. Production costs vs. advertising and residual revenues. At least some of donations to date must have gone to secure decent lawyers to do this. Makes you wonder if the initial investment might've gone directly to the research rather than make that detour

WAIT - the government had a program to study UFOS - really, just trust me - and let's look at these same videos again .... cue the Manson Lamps (obscure Sopranos reference) and the dramatic music.
Oh sorry, just a distraction. Like a reflex.

Seems EarthTech may be benefiting from this too. Still waiting for some announcement about the meta-scrap-materials.

Yes, what about those metal bits? Short attention spans are all the rage these days, but some of us are old fashioned and expect at least a feeble attempt at follow-through.
