I have a strong suspicion that any intelligent alien race visiting our planet and discovering that the dominant nation's primary occupation involves endless mass murder operations perpetrated under false pretenses, is a strong dissuasive factor in their decision to open a dialogue with us. And who could blame them?Well see. It will probably die down soon if theres no follow up, and there usually isnt, not from the mainstream anyways. Even this admission would have remained in the dark, if Greenewald and others didnt do some pushing. Besides as long as its unknown, people can and will think its anything really, since unknown doesnt say much. They will fill those holes with their own truths. It could be aliens to some, it could be secret military craft to others or it could be hallucinations/misinterpretations to debunkers, depends whos looking at it. Thats how it always goes until theres something undeniable that removes all doubt.
IF there is some otherwordly presence here that wishes contact at some point, then id say yes, disclosure is inevitable at some point, unless we destroy ourselves first. It is as inevitable as growing to an adult. At the latest, it would happend when these others would reveal themselves to us in mass, no one could really deny that kind of a show. I sometimes think thats the only way this would happen, people and governments only seem to muddy the waters and argue around forever whose version of truth is more valid, like i mentioned before. And even after that theres probably gonna be some fringe groups who twist or deny the whole thing still, like religious fundamentalists or flat earthers. Never underestimate the power of denial. They dont matter tough in the big picture, the world can move on without them.
However we dont know what the offworlders timetable and requisitions would be for it, it could take the next 10 years or 1000 years. Maybe theyd want to check if we survive the hurdles that are coming, prove our worth so to speak. Just speculating here, but sapient species that is contact ready is probably preferred to show both intellectual, emotional and spiritual maturity to understand their responsibility in natures chain and protecting their planet and peoples, and technological prowess to start exploring the stars or creating AI. In that case wed be way off still.

I may be a fool for letting myself get excited about that kind of statement from Tom DeLonge, but deep down I'm too much of a hopeful optimist to deny that he probably has a good reason for saying it, and some compelling scientific findings via the ADAM Project would fit the bill perfectly.
Ultimately I'm going to have to see the science involved with that project, before I make a final decision about the significance of TTSA one way or the other. And so far every hint I've seen around the edges points to their key members believing that they have some exciting empirical research in the wings, perhaps soon to be released, at last...
Also it might be that the "big news" Tom has been hyping is another season of the Unidentified....
Didnt see that coming... no...
I heard Vallee on Lee Speigel's new show, but I may have missed something, because I didn't get the impression that there's a coherent group outside of TTSA dedicated to conducting material analyses. But if that's what's happening, my first guess would be SCU.Thomas have you heard that Speigel and Vallee have been saying theres another group unrelated to TTSA thats also allegedly doing research on metamaterials or anomolous materials related to UFOs? What do you think of that?

Frankly I'm baffled that nobody is giving Jacques Vallee a hard time about withholding his lab reports about that anomalous finding with the Argentinian sample he described a year or two ago, which we talked about earlier, where three isotopes of an element were found in perfect thirds (which never occurs naturally).
In any case it feels like a story is going to break about this kind of thing - with Vallee and TTSA both talking about this subject lately, and both doing so in excited tones, it seems like the time is ripe for a bombshell revelation. But if something doesn't break by this time next year, I'm going to start collecting scalps, because the hype and anticipation is driving me nuts.
Well him and Glassel did some pushing, i think they deserve some credit.
It's hilarious that JG's obsessive efforts to discredit TTSA have only yielded unprecedented levels of confirmation from the government. It's exactly the opposite of what he was hoping to find, but now he wants them to thank him for it, lol.JG's campaign to discredit TTSA is the only reason he did any pushing...IMO
...
It seems pretty plain to me that he's talking about the results of the ADAM Project, because Steve Justice and Hal Puthoff have been the primary scientists working on that project and he applauds them by name here.
I think it speaks volumes that he's bashing this stuff at a thousand miles per hour as soon as the story broke: SETI is sweating bullets right now because if AAVs are visiting our planet (which it seems everyone but SETI already knows), they're dead meat.I used to to have a lot more respect for Seth, but unfortunately hes become a stubborn fossil, pretty biased in his views on this.
I think our best chance for discovering exosolar civilizations around other stars will arrive when we can detect artificial light on the dark side of habitable planets. And SETI won't be a part of that research, so their days are numbered.SETI needs to evolve and expand its scope.
