Twitter, It was a day...

This morning sometime, I made a post on a large twitter page. This man was so grateful for my comment, He retweeted it. See, because he was getting a lot of hate. Of course, My comment Got me a lot of hate.

The Subject was in Gaming, Was someone a hardcore gamer if they use modern cheat devices like rewind features to correct lost lives and mistakes. So, my argument is, If you are using those features to make the game easier then you are cheating the challenge of the original game.

wave after wave of angry gamers all came to call me an elitist for issuing that Hardcore is the only way to play games, which is not what I said. I guess I had to fight with over a hundred people through the day, All to have my opinion, however. It gets old always just agreeing and never getting to have an opinion so I saw this through. It's hard to have an opinion on twitter very hard. But, if you manage to fend off a hundred people and maintain your point of view, It gets you a lot of street cred. Either way. It felt good to not just concede the point to avoid conflict. It felt good to make a point and stand for it.

But Twitter is insane. here I can have an opinion and just have it, Like that. But twitter is different, everyone gets mad and wants you to fall in line and follow them and think as they do. It's insane really.

I just ignore 'em. Twits hate being ignored.

It's true, And it will most definitely be a while before I go back, I just, I just couldn't let them not let me have an opinion, I think everyone is entitled to that. And somehow, Twitter has forgotten, That Fascism, Is a strong autocratic opposition to someone's opinion, They have forgotten, because if you go to google, They omit, Merriam websters second definition of fascism, Definition of FASCISM What's weird brother, You can search google all day long, And you won't find that second definition of what fascism is. IT's like Google doesn't want people to know... Anyway, that little bit there from Merriam, Is what allowed me to literally silence nearly a hundred people because they didn't know how to look at a source more credible than Googles front page.

I do, however, find it really disturbing that when google defines fascism it leaves the second definition out. It's kind of alarming really.

Fine example of what occurs when the masses get their say and also how order is demanded when there is no limit to the audience.

Reading your post reminds me of a soldier who has won the day and is now by the fire, recounting a day in the field amongst friendlies.

I would never venture to such a place because of the locals.

There are a few in the ufo community within twitter who play this same game causing many divisions and lines to be drawn where previously there were none...Artificial additives...

It's where social platforms give everyone a voice, which is fair, But half the Populus use that power to be little dictators, They feel so powerful that they are now heard that they feel their opinions are the law. Power is a funny thing in psychology, Humans rarely ever use power to benefit others. So you give someone power the first thing they do is abuse it. Give someone a voice to be heard, And they begin screaming. Perhaps it's an adjustment phase, People aren't used to being heard. But most certainly the social atmosphere is turbulent on twitter.
