It was only a matter of time.
Question is...with enough time will it change it name to...STAR FLEET COMMAND?!

As everyone knows, Gary McKinnon has claimed that the US has had a "Star Fleet" for some time:
IT expert and so-called hacker Gary McKinnon has claimed in an interview with RichPlanet TV that he came across information relating to UFOs and extraterrestrial life during his infamous foray into NASA’s computer system.

Mr. McKinnon, who breached the security defences of NASA and US military networks between February 2001 and March 2002, said that he found a document entitled “non-terrestrial officers”.

This excel sheet, he explained, had the ranks and names of unknown individuals. Furthermore, Mr. McKinnon went on to say, another sheet had tabs for “material transfers between ships”.

When he tried to search for the names of the ships – approximately eight to 10 in total – he was unable to come across anything that mentioned them (at least in public), reinforcing his assessment that these were part of a covert and non-terrestrial US initiative.

This might be a stupid question, did he make copies of or download these documents?...

AFAIK, he didn't. Apparently, because he was using a dial-up connection, and lacked sufficient bandwidth to do so swiftly. Naturally, he didn't want to stay there for too long.

A plausible explanation on its face, but obviously that leaves us with no proof for his claims. (Also, by his own admission, he was stoned at the time.) His proponents like to use the government's effort to extradite him as evidence that he had uncovered important secrets.

That's a bit of a reach, the efforts to extradite him seems to be simply because he accessed government systems period, irregardless of what he saw or read...

US Space Force sparks hilarity after revealing its new uniform and is ridiculed for choosing camouflage as jokers suggest better patterns with stars on

The US Space Force debuted its new utility uniform and service nametape and it's not at all what the peanut gallery expected. The Space Force tweeted out a photo of the uniform and nametape Friday, about a month after President Trump signed the sixth branch of the military into existence on December 20, 2019.

'The first #SpaceForce utility uniform nametapes have touched down in the Pentagon,' tweeted @SpaceForceDoD. Military.com reported that four-star rank on the uniform, as well as the Command Space Operations badge over the new navy blue-embroidered service nametape indicated that the showcased uniform belonged to Gen. John Raymond, the new - and first - commander of the US Space Force.

To be fair, I've seen Navy personnel wearing camo. I suppose it means you're military, whether or not you actually need it for concealment.

Maybe they need camo because they're on the ground and already have warehouses full of BDUs.

I guess the logic is same as why they painted old planes different colors on top and bottom. The Navy switched to that blue gray digital camo a few years back, so maybe it's green when they're in the shrubbery and a nice cool white-black-gray digital camo for the Moonbase.

Whatever they do, don't give them red shirts and black pants. Casualty rates will go through the roof!

I am sure it has already happened but the US will be battling China and Russia for control of outer space and for control of the Moon and Mars and beyond. The US government is just making it official.

'Starfleet called. They want their insignia back': Social media roasts Trump after he reveals Space Force logo that looks a lot like the badge from STAR TREK

President Trump on Friday unveiled the new logo for the Space Force - and it looks a lot like the emblem for the Starfleet command from the show Star Trek. The president was mocked on social media by those who pointed out the striking resemblance between the two logos. In the Star Trek franchise, the Starfleet is a fictional organization controlled by the United Federation of Planets.
