Oh but of course....where was my head? Polish is of course our second language here.

Haha, well for me Polish is my 3rd language after English and Spanish...I have a few Polish friends here in the US who taught me the language over the last 15 years...

Actually though, if you check the day created on that thread it was created over a year ago when there were 3 active members, I started that thread and it remained as it's been since...

I have no problem updating the name of the thread though, the forum has evolved much since then, do you have a suggestion?...

Yea, I knew we had a music thread, I search and searched but couldn't find, and sometimes it's nice to toss in a song.

I had a good day at my family reunion today, there was 83 people there including my daughter and husband and their two. It was my moms side of 6 brothers and 4 sisters, there all still kickin. there was 5 cousins that couldnt make it out of 21 i think. We had hickory smoked burgers, hotdogs, hotlinks, chicken, and all sorts of sides from really hot chili , and the desserts, omg i`m still stuffed. It was good to talk to everyone for a bit.its made me realize that even though i might not be rich in $$ i am in family. My dads side is bigger.

I washed and polished my car this morning, it's so shiny now lol...I just started preparing a casserole to bake with green beans, carrots, chicken, rice, peas in a spicy thick sauce and a thin oatmeal flour dough...

We toured the Mission Concepcion and enjoyed Sunday Noon Mariachi Mass.

The music was in Spanish and beautiful.

It was cool to see the historical architecture of the 1800's

The weather was perfect... butterflies, birds, and squirrels were playing outside...

Because it's been an extra dry Winter and it's getting warmer, that means that over the last few days extra large numbers of cicadas are coming out from the ground after living underground as a nymph for anywhere between 2 and 17 years and undergoing metamorphosis, leaving their shells behind.

All singing loudly annoying the crap out of some folk, managing to send some people totally bonkers with their deafening chorus... There about 700 species of cicadas here, many unnamed but where I live Yellow Mondays, picture below, are in the majority...

Love it, music to my ears...

Hash pipe made me puke this morning. Things sure smell different right now. Sign of the times.
Sounds like you need a maiden or two to keep you company. Massage your feet and rub your belly a little... No reason an older Pepe should hafta be by himself in these times... Maybe have them wear bikinis... Call it a spa day at home...

Wow, another insect I've never seen before. It's actually quite beautiful. I never saw a blue bumble bee before Diva posted a picture of one.

These things are amazing... I used to watch them come out of their shell after they would climb up a tree trunk, then slowly work themselves out of the shell, leaving the empty case on the tree as if would climb the tree with its legs by itself...

And the sound of them in the trees was almost deafening at times.

Eerie looking faces if you look close...

I just had toast with avacado and tomatoes with a slice of chees melted over that, then four quality sausage patties and a two fine cups of coffee.

I find A hearty breakfast is the key to a healthy productive day.

I found the frame and did the macrame myself. It was my first time doing such a thing. It took 450 yards rope, $40

We have them around here, I like it when someone that has never heard them moves here, The first they hear them and are freaked out WTH is that sound, so you go and grab one and they freak out ever worse, i have never seen a yellow one before but we do have green, black, and the brown ones are the biggest here.
