Questions about WICCA

yes it is easy to read your karma. first let us look at the law of three
Three is a mystical and important number in most cultures and spiritual practices, including paganism and Wicca.
Although it’s not a law that is exclusive to Wicca. Ever mind the rule of three – what ye send out comes back to thee. Not only does an action – or the energy that you send out with that action – come back to haunt you. It comes back, magnified several times over. So if you did steal money from someone, chances are that you’ll lose much, much more in your lifetime – or even inflict the punishment on future generations. But there is another side to the Three-fold law – perhaps one that’s worth dwelling on more – it can also work to your favor! The more joy, love, kindness and compassion you put into the world, the more of it you’ll attract into your own life. This can come in many forms – new experiences, new friends, lovers, abundance, happiness etc. So if you’re struggling to make ends meet – start sharing some of what you already have (whether that’s your experience, kind words or love) with a joyous and open heart, to attract more of the same into your life.
So is good happening? is your life taking positive directions? Are the things you are doing impacting you in a good way?
and let us look at negative events. An illness let us say. In march my husband became ill. this flu spread and soon my whole family had it. I knew it was only a matter of time before I got it. But with each act each good thing I did to eliminate the negative effects the better the karma.
One more example is I sent some one a large some of money I sent it willing and with the best of intentions. But after I found out I was essentially robbed I became angry and bitter. I still feel negative today. I will receive no real karma for that.
If you live by the law of three even if you are not a WICCAN then you are insured a happy life one with the blessings of karma and your good works. Be a light to others!
Blessed Be

That's interesting. Isn't there a selfish aspect to intentionally doing good to attract the same in return nearly negating the purpose? It seems to be a conditioning logic for Sims. Wilcock said forgiveness will stop the wheels of karma. Does the software in our holographic reality need us to do that to clean its system? Are we essentially defragging AI?

Thanks alot, Rikki. I believe firmly in Karma. It is a core principle of my Christianity, although not usually described by that word. I think that most of the unease I find myself in is due to the bad karma I have built up for myself over these past 40 years of life. I can make better choices and create good karma, but the bad karma is still going to exert it's influence over the remainder of this life. Hardly a unique situation, but still quite a burden to carry.

Samhain (pronunced “Sow-in”) is the Celtic roots of Halloween. About 2000 years ago, it was celebrated in Ireland, Wales and Scotland. In the Celtic calendar, Samhain is the New Year. It marks the end of summer, the brighter half of the year, and the beginning of winter, the darker half of the year. At that time, the festivities take place from October 31st after sunset until November 1st in the morning. It is celebrated in large gatherings with bonfires, contests and feasts all around the country. In addition, we teach that during Samhain’s Eve, the veil between the worlds is thinner, allowing the deceased to walk among the living. It is customary to honor those who died in the past year and to do divination for the year to come.
for the wandering spirits. Single candles are lit in windows to guide the spirits of loved ones home, and places were set at the dinner table and near the hearth to honor the dead and make them welcome. Apples were left along roadsides to provide for the spirits who had no loved ones to provide for them. We intend to honor Bob's father by setting a place at our table and laying out his favorite pipe and Prince Albert Tabaco. Our children also give him welcome as they tell him of good things that happened this year.
To best recall those who have left us make an ancestral altar. This is what one must do:
Create an ancestor altar using a collection of photographs, displaying your various relatives, ideally going back a few generations to illustrate and show respect for your history. Besides photos, you could also decorate your altar with any other items that belonged to your relatives or even just things that remind you of them. Jewelry, clothing, or other heirloom items could all be used. What matters most is that these items mean something to you and represent your past.
ir

Even those not of the faith find comfort in this.
then a divination:
Before the stroke of midnight, Sit in front of a mirror in a room lit only by one candle or the moon. Go into the silence, and ask a question. Cut the apple into nine pieces. With your back to the mirror, eat eight of the pieces, then throw the ninth over your left shoulder. Turn your head to look over the same shoulder, and you will see an image or symbol in the mirror that will tell you your answer. (When you look in the mirror, let your focus go "soft," and allow the patterns made by the moon or candlelight and shadows to suggest forms, symbols and other dreamlike images that speak to your intuition.)
Three fold Blessings upon you and your house

Intent is key, coming from within, determines the outcome along with any associated karma...

I was mowing the grass today and as I passed the apple tree I saw a small yellow flower in the taller grass that I would be mowing over on the next pass...I watched for that flower and as I came up to it a small bee landed on it...So without a choice I mowed around that spot and left the flower alone, the bee still buzzing around it...What could I hope to gain by that simple act of kindness, it really was just my intent because I had no choice once I saw that scenario play out with the Flower, the Bee, and Me, no intention on harming them...

Could nefarious groups do good deeds to counterbalance their so-called bad deeds and does that impact karma?

This is not a group effort although groups benefit from doing good things, the intent must come individually , you could have one or more members with different intentions making their overall group efforts meaningless...

We have bunches of Wolf spiders in and around my house. My wife can't stand them, but we now gently capture them and release outside, rather than smashing them to bits.

Time to set up a yule altar:
Place the 3 colors upon an oak table.
RED:
In modern Pagan magical practice, red is often associated with passion and sexuality. However, for some people, red indicates prosperity. InChakra work, red is connected with the root chakra, located at the base of the spine. Holistic Healing Expert Phylameana Iila Desy, says, "This Chakra is the GROUNDING FORCE that allows us to connect to the earth energies and empower our beings." So, how can you incorporate the color red into your magical workings at Yule? Deck your halls with red ribbons and bows, hang garlands of holly with its bright red berries, or position a few pretty poinsettias on your porch to invite prosperity and good fortune into your home. If you've got a tree set up, tie red bows on it, or hang red lights to bring a little bit of fiery passion into your life during the chilly months. WARNING if you have cats keep in mind poinsettias are poisonous!
GREEN ;green has been associated with the Yule season for many years, by many different cultures. This is a bit of a paradox, because typically, green is seen as a color of spring and new growth by people who live in areas that experience seasonal changes. However, the winter season has its own share of greenery. in chakra work Known as the balance point of all seven Chakras, the heart or the fourth Chakra is located at the center of the breastbone. This Chakra deals with love and relationships and represents the energy center for an individual’s happiness and feelings of compassion.
Use green in magical workings related to prosperity and abundance — after all, it's the color of money. You can hang evergreen boughs and holly branches around your house, or decorate a tree with green ribbons, to bring money into your home. As the tale of the sun and the trees shows, green is also the color of rebirth and renewal.
WHITE:
White also associated with purity and truth in many Pagan magical practices. If you do any work with chakras, the crown chakra at the head is connected with the color white. Phylameana lila Desy, says, "The crown chakra allows inner communications with our spiritual nature to take place. The opening in the crown chakra... serves as an entryway wherein the Universal Life Force can enter our bodies and be dispersed downward into the lower six chakras housed below it."
If you're using white in your magical workings at Yule, consider incorporating it into rituals that focus on purification, or your own spiritual development. Hang white snowflakes and stars around your home as a way of keeping the spiritual environment clean.
once the cloths are upon the table place a gold or bronze plate in the center. This is the sun who we welcome back as she ends her rest to greet spring. red green and white candles adorn the whole. Add bowls of winter nuts, like walnuts, pecans, and hazelnuts, or fresh fruit such as oranges and apples, to your altar.
Mistletoe, which symbolizes fertility and abundance, is often associated with the winter holidays around the world Again take care it is poisonous!
add bells as a method of bringing harmony to a magical space.
Try incorporating sacred plants associated with the winter solstice as well. Evergreen boughs like pines, fir, juniper and cedar are all part of the evergreen family, and they’re typically associated with themes of protection and prosperity, as well as that of a continuation of life and renewal. Hang a sprig of holly in your house to ensure good luck and safety to your family. Wear it as a charm, or make holly water (which you probably read as holy water!) by soaking leaves overnight in spring water under a full moon. Use birch branches to craft your own Besom for magical workings, and in spells and rituals related to enchantments, renewal, purification, fresh starts and new beginnings.
The besom is the traditional witch's broom. It's associated with all kinds of legend and folklore, including the popular notion that witches fly around in the night on a broomstick. ( I cant imagine a more uncomfortable mode of transportation!) The Besom is used mostly for sweeping and cleaning rituals.

Thanks Rikki. I am constantly amazed at how much different religions have in common, even those which are usually seen at odds. One idea that is constantly rolling around in my mind is the possibility that most major religions of the world have a common source, both in antiquity and in terms of what adherents are searching for.

I never quite understood why the majority of Americans chose to celebrate the gory death and alleged resurrection of someone during the spring. or to wear the symbol of his death on ones person. After all you don't wear a gold Noose.
Its time to celebrate Life in all its wonder.
Ostara is one of the eight Pagan Sabbats marked by the Wheel of the Year. Each Sabbat marks a new season, equinox or solstice, which are used to signify the cycle of life, love, death and rebirth between the Mother Goddess (Gaia) and the Father God (also known as the Horned God). With Ostara in particular, it represents a new age of fertility, as the cycle of life and death of the Horned God starts up again.
There are many ways witches and warlocks from the multiple branches of Paganism choose to celebrate Ostara, but the majority of them choose to celebrate the Sabbat of rebirth by basking in the fresh spring flowers. For many, they can choose to have a ritual in their hard garden or simply enjoy the world around them.

You may be wondering, well what does some holiday about spring have to do with Easter? I'm glad you asked! As it turns out, like many other pagan traditions, the Christian religion got a few inspirations from the Pagans, one of them being the beloved Easter Egg.
What the rabbit represents for Ostara is fertility, magic and sexual energy, seeing as the main theme in the Spring Equinox is fertility and sowing seeds. Many believe that both of the holidays' names come from the goddess Eostre, who is sometimes associated with fertility and is loosely connected to both eggs and rabbits.
It is a time of rebirth and renewal. One should prepare properly for it.
I outlined a sprit cleanse one should use it daily. next cast out the negative and prepare for the renewal.
I will outline more soon
Blessed be

Thanks for sharing, Rikki. Interestingly, a person who is a Jehovah's Witness at my work made a derisive comment about the company Christmas tree being a symbol of a "Pagan Holiday" last December. I had to restrain myself from laughing out loud, as if a friggin' Christmas tree invalidates my own religious beliefs.

At Peace.
Christmas Trees...
Santa Clause...
To me, it is all just happy fun for Christmas Day.
Silly happy things, to remind people to focus on happy thoughts and put aside differences and invite the neighbors for celebration.
I do not care about classing it in any other way.
Trying to argue its merit seems a waste of effort from any angle when they could just use it as an excuse to have fun.

on candle magic:
One of the most popular candles, believe it or not, is the little menorah candle sold by the box in the kosher section of the grocery store. They're about four inches long, white, unscented, and thin. Because of this, they're perfect for spell work. Now that Passover is done these should still be on the shelves and marked down.

You should always use a brand new candle for spell work and not candles that you burned at, say, the dinner table or in the bathroom the day before. According to some magical traditions, a candle picks up vibrations from the items around it once it starts to burn. If a used candle is already tainted by vibrations, some people believe it will lead to a negative or ineffective magical outcome.
After you've selected a candle, oil or dress it before burning. This is a method by which you'll establish a psychic link between you and the candle itself. In other words, you're charging the candle with your own energy and personal vibrations and projecting your intent into the wax before you burn it.

To dress a candle, you'll need a natural oil; many practitioners like to use grapeseed because it has no smell. Another option is to use special candle magic oils from one of the metaphysical supply stores. Begin at the top of the candle, and rub the oil down to the middle. Then, begin at the base of the candle and rub the oil up towards the middle, ending where the first coating of oil left off. In some traditions, the anointing is done just the opposite way; start in the middle and work your way towards the two ends.
The most basic form of candle magic uses a piece of colored paper that matches the intent of your candle. Decide what your goal is, and write it on the piece of paper.
Chant:
Earth below Sky Above
fill the dark of night with love.
The morning sun will take my pain
I awake renewed again
the time has come
renewed by sun
count my blessings one by one

Place one corner of the folded paper into the candle's flame and allow it to catch fire. Hold the paper as long as possible (without burning your fingers) and then place it in a fire-safe bowl or cauldron to burn the rest of the way on its own. Allow the candle to burn out completely. When the candle has melted, dispose of it, rather than saving it to use again for another working. Usually, there's not much left of a candle except a stub of wax, and you can either bury it outdoors or dispose of it as you choose.
PLEASE if you have any symptoms I urge you to seek medical care! The Goddess has provided us with fine doctors. USE THEM.
Blessed be

Recently my daughter Deborah embraced Christianity Suddenly both my twins have become very spiritual Kate loves the goddess And Debbie the message of love and peace that Jesus taught us. they don't fight over who is right but have walked the paths seeking the truth.
WICCA;
What ye send forth is returned to thee 3 fold. DO NO HARM.
Jesus:
Whatever ye do to the least of my brothers that you do unto me.
Do unto others as ye would have done to you.
The teachers are different. The message the same love, mercy, forgiveness.
Recently we had some events in our home. My grandmothers perfume lingers in the air. lavenders her favorite flowers blooming early. Telling me she has
indeed moved on. Samantha told me Grandma Burrus came to tell her to grow up to be kind and was gone again. Debbie just said that she believed that she wanted to see us one last time and she is with Jesus in heaven. I would like to think that maybe she is right. Who am I to stand between her and God?

Rikki, thanks so much for sharing that with us. I used to go to church with a prison chaplain, and asked him how he managed to serve a population that had pretty much every religion under the sun. He told me, "there is good news in every religion, and I just focus on that."

on faith:
No path is the TRUE path .
Each to their own , we are all apart of A PATH but not the same path
Never judge another's path is a silent rule all witches have followed from the beginning of time .
Respect your fellow witches/ non witchy , no matter their path .
It's TRUE to THEIR soul !
The many colors of witchcraft/ spiritual path is a blessing, rejoice this , live this ,be apart of it .
My task as High Priestess is NOT to proselytize But to lead by example. empty words do NOT change a man or a woman.101305147_4567210089956115_6862350423148199936_n.jpg
I have stated in the past all faith has part of the same message. Let us walk as one. Just because I am a WICCAN high priestess I do NOT have all the answers. Nor dose my daughter Kate who I teach. My Daughter Debbie follows Jesus and has part of the same message.
Blessed Be
