The ghosts in my house intrigued me for a bit. so i ended up doing a few evps using audacity and my webcams mic, there is all sorts of vids on how to do it on youtube. This was a couple of of years ago, but at first i ended up getting some names one full name that i found out 94 year old son lives less than a 1/4 mile away, than i ended up getting a sinister laugh and voice that i recognized and it said i`ll see you in hell (or as he put it when he was alive was "I'll see you in Disneyland"), During the next evp i did i tried asking him some things, when i sensed one of my two dogs behind me so i reached back to pet it, and could not feel nothing, so i turned and as i did i seen both my dogs on the couch asleep, when i got to see what was behind me i fell out of my chair in horror and fright. it was what think was a hell hound or the black dog with red eyes, it looked almost german shepherdish 3 foot high long dirty tangled black hair with glowing blood red eyes with all sorts of drool slobber dripping from its fangs, but it had a smile on its face not a menacing growl . it dissappeared and i deleated all my evps and hadn`t done one since

This is very very cool story because of the dog with red eyes. Have you read about the towns and places with the black dog with red eyes?
I remember long time ago a person told me that he was walking home. Suddenly he saw this black dog with red eyes. When he came home there had been an accident and the person warned me that if I saw this black dog with red eyes there would be warning sign and I had to turn and go another way!
And I have followed his warning ever since. I have not really seen the black dog myself I believe, but the redness of eyes. Only some red. I can not walk my favourite road cause I have seen red. Have to wait until the warning is away.

There are many Black dogs. Some are very malevolent. Others are benevolent. You can read about the different on wikipedia. In Somerset the black dog seems to be of good. - Gurt Dog :) Woff woff!

i came across this when it happened and for the next year i was on edge, also my last name is Scottish and originates from the clan Ogilvie , i look back now and think it was being a protector of whom i came in contact with during the evp which was richard ramirez, which i only met for 10 minutes at most, 2 weeks before he was caught, thats a whole differnt story altogether i cant get into cause of others involved, maybe soon hopefully never

People of Scotland and Ireland have seen the black dog for
centuries. It should be noted that the black dog is not
limited to the borders of Ireland and Scotland, as he will
appear wherever there are Celtics. The black dog does not
limit itself to those of a specific economic or social
class; rather he’s an equal opportunity visitor. Nor is it
always a purveyor of death and evil. Some have viewed
"their" black dog to be a protector who will act as a
guardian angel or guide to the after life.

A few witnesses have described the black dog as large, as
big as a calf but smaller than a Labrador dog, and shaggy.
Witnesses can not agree on the size of the black dog but
they all agree on two things. The black dog does not make a
sound whatsoever and it has large fiery red eyes.

For some, the black dog is believed to be a dangerous omen.
Many believe it will hunt the guilty down until justice is
done ? in one form or another. Witnesses to the black dog
report an overwhelming sense of despair, are despondent and notice a severe decline in vitality making their ability to
observe their surroundings or the black dog nearly
impossible. The black dog does not exhibit aggressive
behavior; rather it just follows and projects a feeling of
fear and despair. However, there are some reports that the
dog is harmless unless provoked or touched. Primarily it is
believed to do mental harm first (despair, despondency),
followed by physical harm (usually an accident of some sort
because of victims lack of clarity), and end in death.

The appearance of the black dog means different things
depending upon who you are and what type of life you are
living. For the MacLartin Clan seeing the black dog means
one of them will die an ignoble death on a dunghill.
Far-fetched you say? The black dog followed Lord Jamie
MacLartin one evening in 1715. It is reasonable to say that
he was so fearful, he wasn’t being very observant to his
surroundings, which enabled a group of English Dragoons to
capture him. Lord MacLartin was robbed, hung by the neck
until dead and then his body left on a nearby dunghill.

Scotland and Ireland are not the only countries to have
black dogs. England has Shuck who is a black, fiery-eyed
dog who is believed to be an apparition of evil. Church
Grim is another black dog that guards Churchyards from evil,
whether spirit or human.

The black dog is said to vanish in a brilliant burst of
light. One farmer on Dartmoor reportedly saw a large black
dog in the near distance. Being the friendly type, he
attempted to make friends with the dog. The dog turned
darting away. The farmer gave chase. At the crossroad, the
dog disappeared in a brilliant explosive flash knocking the
farmer to the ground.

One night a man near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire struck out at a black dog with two large glowing eyes. The dog
vanished leaving the farmer speechless and paralyzed
permanently.

A waggoner on the road at Hatfield Peverell, Essex was said
to encounter a large black dog that blocked his side of the
country lane. Thinking to chase the dog out of the way, the
waggoner attempted to hit the dog. The waggoner was found burnt to ashes next to his abandoned horse and wagon. Many who have reported seeing the black dog vanishing have returned to the spot and found scorched marks smelling heavily of brimstone.

The Suffolk area has suffered through horrifying incidents
involving the black dog. The following incidents have been
documented. On August 4, 1577 the residents of Bungary and Suffolk were attending church when there was a sudden
violently unusual thunderstorm that turned the sky dark and
made the church quake. The parish clerk was cleaning the
roof gutters at the time when he was struck to the ground by
lightening. Fortunately, he was not seriously injured.
Outside the lightening danced around the church illuminating the black dog and allowing the entire congregation to see it clearly. The dog ran down the aisle through the congregation. As it passed through two members who were kneeling in pray they fell to the floor, dead. Another man who was unfortunate to have been touched by the dog shriveled up, yet remained alive. The clock mechanism of the church was twisted and broken. The stones and the metal door were marred by claw marks.

The same day, seven miles away in Blythburg another black
dog was reported to have run down the aisle smiting members of the congregation, killing two men and a young boy, and blasting others within the church.

In the Somerset Volume of County Folklore there is a short
reference to two people who died in 1960 after having seen a
black dog believed to haunt the road from St. Audries to
Perry Farm.

As I had indicated earlier, there are some that treasure
their experiences with the black dog. In Ireland, there is
the Pooka who is believed to be a good companion and guide
to those who are walking the lonely dark country lanes. In
the 1930’s in the isolated valleys of the Quantock Hills,
women allowed their small children to roam the hillside.
They knew their children would be protected and well looked
after by the Gurt Dog (black dog).

The next time you find yourself either walking alone on a
dark stretch of road willingly or otherwise, keep your eyes
focused on the road before you, cross your fingers, say a
prayer, whistle and hope that the black dog doesn’t come to
keep you company.

Thank you for sharing!
Ok! They tell aliens smells either brimstone or Cinnamon. This is why I have started to think - are the aliens having fun and playing with us? Could be. They could even have created this dog to create life even more mysterious. Is this an alien dog made of Roro - I call them the Roro because alien is anything. Roro is specific travelers from outer space with advanced technology fooling us around making people believe it is ghosts.

I was having project about UFO at art school and asked the Roro " Please.Could you come and help me with the project. You know all about this topic " :lol3: HAHA! And then suddenly a person in the class room asked " Do any of you smell rotten egg? " And HAHAHA  The smell did not want to go away and all the people in the class room felt bad about the smell. They tried to find the source of the rotten egg but found nothing. w24 And I told them " HAHA. It is the aliens. They have come to help me with the UFO project. They smell of sulfur "
Lol. The other people in the class did not like to have visit of anyone smelling rotten egg. Not very popular. The Roro left - or became more invisible and the people in the classroom asked me rather ask them to smell like Cinnamon next time. I bought cinnamon to make them want to come back, but I have not smelled any cinnamon from them after that.

Yes. The black dog could absolutely be one of Roro's pets running around on earth :D
Even if it is an aliens pet we should really be careful with it and show respect!

(I have written about the smell in another tread if I remember correctly.)

Are you familiar with the smell of Brimstone?

Genealogy – Clan Ogilvie

This is a very nice page about the clan Ogilvie and some of the history.

as he will

People have used to ask if I am from England and my surename could be English- Do not know. Only know druids have been very close in spirit all life. Many people probably have celtic within them anyway without knowing. Why celtics? Is it an ancient curse that have bound the dog to them? -
It is also believed the Roro- (aliens ) chose specific people for a specific purpose. Or it could be an ancient oath between the Roro and the Celtic people that the Black dog would be with them for some reason.

Very interesting.

For about a hundred bucks US you can send your spit to Ancestry or the like and they'll tell you. My wife did 23andme and they screen for Neanderthal DNA.

Fact or Science Fiction? Putting DNA Rumors to the Test Has she taken the Y-DNA test?

That seems fun to do. Good idea! My fathers side could go back to England. Very difficult to tell. He must then take this test. Or my brothers. I could ask if one of my brothers already did take the Y DNA test. Mum's surname probably derives from Finland. They were highly spiritual "...... may well descend from Atche-Feyenna ,father of the Finns or Fenns ,called also Acha-Pawaya-Na , son of Ganda from Kasshu Karduniash, ancestor of all Finno-Ugrians . Their first country must have been beyond Ural mountain until Asshurians have them exiled , like all other inhabitants of Galar-Ganda ,into Eurasia about 800 years b.c.." Family Tree & Family History at Geni.com

(father surname)
"The surname was found in the USA, the UK, Canada, and Scotland between 1840 and 1920. The most G families were found in the UK in 1891."
So very likely Scotland then with the black dog with red eyes haunting :D Lol
I was born with orange hair. It is still orange pigment in it with little dominance. Lion colour when the sun shine and darker when I keep myself inside.

I found more information about my fathers surname. "Vikings. G.... was settled by Danes sometime in the 9th century AD. According to legend, the name G... derives from the name ....., a Danish fisherman, the suffix -by being the Old Norse word for village." :)

My Father a Viking and my mother from Finnish- lapland. You must all excuse my personality here!

Where does your name derive from?

Awesome! If the whole family takes a DNA - test, then you might get a bigger picture.
Not all in a family would like to be tested like that. Must be respected.
All the children in our family has brown eyes. Mine are more amber and twice someone has told they are red and when I took my eye color in a painting program with eyedrop function (none manipulation ) it became amber and red.
Then there must be grandma who have a gene I try to figure out of. I have asked her and she tells some history. Believe they go back to France. She is the only one of the grandparents with brown eyes. Both Viking and Finnish ancestor is blue/grey eyes.
I could ask for her surname and see. She is the very different because she is a living lexicon and a real bookworm compared to the rest, who is very practical and love to work with their body.

Interesting topic. :)
They should do DNA testing on the Black dog with red eyes and Celtic ancestors to see if the myth is true. But that could be difficult. I only see the black dog in vision. After you mentioned it the dog jumps up and licks and hugs me in the face and wants to play. Not threatening anymore. Of course it is visions and not physical. What other have seen is more physical :)

Yes!
It is easy to sell something they tell is haunted just to earn some money. I would be very careful on that marked.
It is like the Gold detector

Same with haunted dolls. Maybe they make some cheap, satanic ritual to make it haunted. But not really good!

Ancestry is a service that makes a nice, polished package and will give you easy graphics to see what markers your DNA lit up. 23andme - at least a few years ago - was as interesting as reading a blood test and I had to go Googling some to understand what I was looking at.

Ancestry also has access to US Census records as part of their basic subscription. I used it to track down my ancestors. Even with family pictures and stories it's difficult to figure out who's who. You only have to go back a couple of generations before the amount of data becomes unwieldy and the accuracy degrades. I got back to about 1870 and that took some doing. I read somewhere that if you go back far enough - and it wasn't as far as you think - we're all related somehow and I'd believe it.

Ireland and Canada (I think) make some of their records available online for free if you go looking.

In my case I grew up in a very Polish family and when I had my DNA tested 90+% of it is from the UK. I guess this is why we look before crossing the street; you don't know until you know.
