I bet the Paracast guests are getting a hammering for dollars or "business opportunities" every time they come on.
Well, I went on the show. But I did so because I promised I would ages beforehand, and, then, because I didn't grasp how pervasive and full-time this asking for money thing was. I beleived it was a side hustle, not the main show. If I'd know about all that Mr. Torsen stuff, and the court problems and other bad things I'd had have second thoughts. The show seems to go on quite well though.
I'm not seeing a problem here. How is this different than what we get from other people flogging podcasts or other such things? His behavior has seen a remarkable change since the spam stopped. I kept expecting the sob story to start, but it's just a sales pitch for a product that actually exists. Some of the product is even good.
Same old same old from Steinberg. Most people who get Social Security money are the first to get their stimulus checks. More BS? Steinberg needs volunteers ( those who will slave for him for free) to build up the business. And there are those pesky online stalkers still out there trying to keep Steinberg down. I don’t see that Steinberg has learned any lessons from the past nonsense he has been working for the past fifteen years. He's Back!
A Spring 2020 Update!
Hello,
History shows that the Great Depression lasted from August 1929 through March 1933. My parents were alive then, but were preteens for most of that period.
Now maybe they told me about it when I was real young, but I don’t remember.
It may be we are living in a depression now, and I know many of you are suffering. In addition to the pandemic, jobs are being lost, rents and other bills are late.
As you know, I’ve survived nearly a decade of financial troubles, and I did think I was getting through the worst.
Until now.
I’ve set aside Uber and Lyft driving for the time being. It’s not safe to have a total stranger, with an unknown physical condition, in the back seat. Don't forget that I am in the age group where people are the most vulnerable to possible infection from the coronavirus.
The promised “stimulus checks” from the IRS still aren’t here.
So I’m staying home and taking my chances, concentrating on rebuilding the business with the major focus on The Paracast and technightowl.com.
Randall and I are seeking volunteers to help rebuild theparacast.com. After our web developer went AWOL, we also rebuilt the Paracast Store (check out www.theparacast.shop).
If all goes well — and nothing is certain anymore — there will be a loosening of the “stay at home” orders over the next few weeks (perhaps as early as May 1). People will get back to work, assuming there’s a place to get back to. For now, I’m taking stock of everything I’m doing to earn a living to try to boost my income.
As always, I remain optimistic.
If you’re in any position to provide a little help, as always I appreciate your donations, whatever you can send.
Here’s how:
Please login to: Send Money, Pay Online or Set Up a Merchant Account - PayPal, login and use the Send to friends and family option. Enter my email address, gene@technightowl.com, and click or tap Next to continue the transaction.
While the online stalkers are still doing their dirty deeds, I continue to ignore them. One of the worst offenders tried to clutter my email box recently, but he was quickly banned (blacklisted), and those filthy messages were forwarded to his service provider.
If you have any questions at all about my situation, please write.
Thank you for reading and for your past support.
Peace,
Gene
