One thing I have always found interesting is the way some of the encounters describe aliens who are slow and almost clumsy; just what you would expect from aliens who are suddenly in a new and unfamiliar gravity and atmosphere. Other encounters describe aliens who seem to simply float around, almost as if they're holograms or projections. The Pascagoula Case comes to mind.
The Mantis being that I interacted with was clumsy. She was trying to connect a small container of liquid (like the bottle you keep insulin in) to a tube that was stuck into my upper, front, right, thigh by a needle. She kept fumbling the task because her fingers were so long and pointed at the ends. Each time she fumbled the needle would lift in my leg and it hurt a lot. It kept pulling me out of the hypnotic state they usually keep you in. I finally said, "Here, let me do it." and reached for the bottle. She said, "But that's my job."
Then another alien put a hand on the back of my neck and I was under again.
