A Shell?

There was a temp we had at work for about two weeks. The look in his eyes were always empty, like there was nothing in there, an empty shell. There would be times I noticed him staring at people, even me for periods of time and didn't do his job well.

The look in his eyes never changed, he could focus on things and function fine but the look in his eyes and the vibes he radiated felt empty and cold.

He could have been a clone. Did he ever say anything odd?

He was a little goofy and also sometimes gave a weird smile, like intentionally faking in a clownish sort of way. He wasn't all there or was scrambled somehow.

It's very common for organizations to use temps to monitor, harass or set up targets.
