“It was one thing to make partisan hay before and during congressional hearings; it would have been quite another to support publicly a verdict for which no solid evidence had been presented at those hearings. No proof had been forthcoming of malicious wrongdoing in the administration”

Biden admin accuses Arizona of trespassing by building barrier on U.S.-Mexico border

Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey was accused this week by the Biden administration of trespassing as the Republican governor makes efforts to fill gaps along the U.S.-Mexico border with shipping containers. Ducey announced last week that he would have crews install shipping containers along a section of the border to fill gaps not covered by a wall. The announcement came two weeks after federal officials ordered him to take down containers he had placed in the southwestern part of the state.

Construction to place these shipping containers in gaps in the border wall began on Aug. 12, 2022, in Yuma, Arizona. (Ashley Soriano/Fox News)

The Republican governor then sued and requested the courts allow Arizona to keep 100 shipping containers, double stacked with barbed wire on top, in place near Yuma. The containers were put in place in August to fill gaps in the border, which Ducey said was pushing back against "the inaction of the Biden administration in stopping migrants from entering the state from Mexico," according to the Associated Press.

Ducey’s plan is to cover a 10-mile section of the border using more than 2,700 containers, each 60-feet long. But the Biden administration continues to demand Ducey remove the barriers, with claims that the state is trespassing on federal lands.

"The unauthorized placement of those containers constitutes a violation of federal law and is a trespass against the United States," Jacklynn Gould, regional director for the Bureau of Reclamation’s Lower Colorado Basin said in a letter to Arizona. "That trespass is harming federal lands and resources and impeding Reclamation’s ability to perform its mission."

Gould’s department falls under the Department of Interior, and in her letter, she stated a contract was awarded by the Department of Homeland Security to close gaps near Morelos Dam. Additionally, she said she expects another award being handed out for two more gaps in the area.

"They say this is federal land, and it is, but it would be trespassing supposedly to put these containers on there," Yuma Mayor Douglas Nicholls, also a Republican, said in an interview with Fox News. "Well, my contention is that 300,000 people that have come through this year alone, they’ve been trespassing, and I don’t remember seeing a letter going out to anybody to try to stop any of that."

Since the project began in August, 130 shipping containers were stacked within 11 days, allowing the state to fill 3,900 feet of open border.

Biden's gaffe-filled speech: President refers to congresswoman as 'senator', claims son Beau died in Iraq and makes bizarre claim he met the ‘inventor’ of insulin – a naturally occurring hormone discovered in 1921

Joe Biden was in Florida on Tuesday at three separate campaign stops, and made a series of bizarre and baffling claims. Speaking alongside Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who is hoping to get re-elected in Florida's 23rd district, in greater Miami, Biden mistakenly referred to her as a senator. 'I don't have a greater friend in the United States senate,' he said. 'And I didn't have a greater friend as vice president, nor as president. So Debbie, thank you, kiddo.' In Hallandale Beach, a Miami suburb 20 miles north of downtown, he claimed that the United States has low inflation - and managed to say once again that his son Beau died in Iraq. Among G7 countries, only Italy and the United Kingdom have worse inflation according to the OECD's latest data, from August.

It makes a person wonder why a politician would want Biden to campaign for her. The other large problem is that Biden is making noises that he wants to run for re-election. That would be a major wipeout for the Democrats.

If that happens, we will probably just see a repeat of the 2020 election with the parties reversed. Dems try to re-elect a terrible president, GOP comes up with someone equally bad who wins only because he isn't the current president. And we are still in the same mess.

Biden's Democrats are guilty of The Great American Cover-up - they've lied and lied again about crime, immigration and the economy. And now they are about to pay the devastating price

Six days away from the 2022 midterm elections and Democrats - by all indications - are about to pay a steep price for ignoring the most important tenant of politics: don't lie straight to our faces. Democrats took the American people for suckers. And the people are angry. It has been a bizarre Alice in Wonderland-experience watching liberals spin ridiculous self-serving narratives about the truly sorry state of America. Their claims are not only patently false, but delusional. And you would have to be delusional yourself to believe the falsehoods spewed from their mouths. Call it the Great American Cover-up.

'Biden thinks Democracy is Democrats in power': Republicans tear into President for 'dividing' Americans because he 'can't talk about his own policies' after speech warning of 'dark forces' in the midterms

Republicans are furious after Joe Biden's 'divisive' and 'patronizing' speech just six days before Election Day - and claim the president thinks American democracy can only succeed if 'Democrats have complete power.' As Democrats become more and more threatened with a red wave, GOP lawmakers say that Biden has further shifted his focus to attacking the opposing Party and former President Donald Trump as a deflection for the flailing economy and his inability to defend his own record. Biden, during his remarks in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday evening, linked his predecessor's rhetoric to the recent attack on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband Paul.

Choosing between food and fuel leaves more Americans out in the cold

Thanks to Biden, one in six US homes must make tough choices as winter nears.

(Excerpt)
According to the National Energy Assistance Directors Association, more than 20 million American households (1 in 6 American homes) are struggling to meet their home energy bills, the worst crisis the group has ever documented. The collective amount owed has doubled from the end of 2019 to now. Families struggling to put food on the table may not find those mean tweets quite so distasteful now as they wistfully recall the Trump-era policies that saved the average family of four $2,500 a year.

But why are American families facing this energy-driven inflationary spiral? Well, prices have surged because President Joe Biden’s policies essentially guaranteed they would surge. When there is a shortage of a product in demand, the price of that product increases. Fossil fuels are clearly in high demand and limiting the supply of such fuels obviously increased the costs.

Biden made his devastatingly bad policies on oil production crystal clear from the beginning of his run for the presidency. Recall that during the 2020 campaign, Biden told a young supporter "look in my eyes" as he said, "I guarantee you we’re going to end fossil fuels." That statement wasn’t one of the all-too-common Biden gaffs. In a February 2020 rally he stated very clearly from prepared remarks, "We are going to get rid of fossil fuels."

Today, tight diesel and natural gas supplies threaten to exacerbate already sky-high inflation and supply chain issues, devastating American families. According to data the Department of Energy released last week, our diesel supply (essential for supply chain transportation) is down to 25 days, the lowest level on record going back to 1993. For people in the Northeast, who depend on diesel to heat their homes in the winter (like Sherri Bukovskey), supplies have dropped to a third of their typical levels for this time of year.

The situation is critical. To address the existing and pending crises Biden’s anti-fossil fuel policies have caused, it seems obvious that the president should unequivocally admit the error of his ways and tell American bankers, asset managers, administration officials, and environmentalists to get out of the way because America needs more oil now!

That apparently is not as obvious as it sounds.

On Monday, the president — who guaranteed he would get rid of fossil fuels — demanded that fossil fuel companies increase production. Seriously. He attacked oil companies for taking "windfall of war" profits, demanded that they increase their production and threatened them with a "higher tax" on their excess profits if they fail to invest in increased production.

It boggles the mind. In what economic universe do you encourage investment with the threat of higher taxes on an industry you have already committed to destroy? For some inexplicable reason, Biden remains committed to his "whole-of-government approach" in attacking the oil and gas industry — seemingly oblivious that his policies are causing the problem. To the extent oil industry profits are a windfall of a war, it’s the Biden administration’s war with fossil fuel producers – which was driving energy prices higher well before Russian President Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine. Even Fed Chairman Jerome Powell has admitted that Biden’s "Putin Price Hike" claim is simply untrue.

And speaking of profits from increased oil prices, when Biden releases oil from the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve, he does exactly what oil companies do — he sells it in the open market in a "price competitive sale." The government doesn’t give its oil away for free, and it doesn’t sell it at cost. It sells at the market rate — just like the oil companies. Biden is criticizing oil companies for taking "a windfall of war" profit, while he sells oil at the same price, taking the same profits, and claiming credit for any reduction in the federal deficit. Some might call that hypocritical. Others might be more direct.

In reality, access to affordable, reliable energy has reduced poverty and improved human lives dramatically for two centuries. Few industries have truly invested in America like oil and gas. Biden’s policies are an irrational threat to that prosperity. American families are now experiencing the initial impact of the Left’s war on fossil fuels. Hopefully, it’s enough of a wake-up call to end the insanity.

Mystery of Paul Pelosi hammer attack deepens as new police account reveals how he calmly opened door to cops after phoning 911, did NOT reveal he was in trouble and then walked BACK towards 'intruder' who bludgeoned him

New details revealed by sources claim that Paul Pelosi answered the door to police when they responded to the 911 call to his home last week, but never said he was in distress. The 82-year-old husband of the US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi answered the door to police when they responded to the 911 call to his home last week, but never said he was in distress and instead smiled and walked back into his home where the attacker bludgeoned him with a hammer, new details revealed. It's not clear if Pelosi was already injured at that time or what his mental state was when he walked back into the house.

Biden says coal plants 'all across America' will be shut down, replaced with wind and solar

President Biden said Friday that coal plants are too expensive to operate, and "we're going to be shutting these plants down all across America" in order to shift to wind power in a comment that drew criticism from the Republican National Committee.

"I was in Massachusetts about a month ago on the site of the largest old coal plant in America," Biden said at an event in Carlsbad, California, on Friday. "Guess what? It cost them too much money. They can't count. No one is building new coal plants because they can’t rely on it. Even if they have all the coal guaranteed for the rest of the existence of the plant.

"So it's going to become a wind generation. And all they're doing is it’s going to save them a hell of a lot of money and using the same transmission line that they transmitted the coal-fired electric on, we're going to be shutting these plants down all across America and having wind and solar power, also providing tax credits to help families buy energy efficient appliances, whether it's your refrigerator or your coffee maker, for solar panels on your home, weatherize your home, things that save an average, experts say, a minimum of $500 a year for the average family."

Biden’s comment prompted a response from a Twitter account run by the Republican National Committee, which said, "Joe Biden celebrates coal plant workers losing their jobs."

Biden added that it is "cheaper to generate electricity from wind and solar than it is from coal and oil."

"Literally cheaper," the president said. "Not a joke." The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox Business.

A Department of Energy report published this summer showed massive job losses in the fuel industry following Biden's presidential campaign where he pledged to lead the country away from fossil fuels.

The report found that the fuel technology sector experienced job losses totaling 29,271 jobs in 2021, a 3.1% year-over-year decline, with the majority coming in the fossil fuel industry. Onshore and offshore petroleum companies shed 31,593 jobs, a 6.4% decline; the coal industry lost 7,125 jobs, down 11.8% year-over-year; and fossil fuel extraction jobs declined by 12%.

"The DOE jobs report is not only reflective of the broader pandemic slowdown, but also highlights an Administration that has worked overtime on restricting American natural gas and oil production," Independent Petroleum Association of America spokesperson Jennifer Marsteller told Fox News Digital in an email.

On the campaign trail in 2020, candidate Biden suggested that coal miners facing an economy where their job is potentially phased out should "learn to program."

"Anybody who can go down 300-3,000 feet in a mine sure as hell can learn how to program as well," Biden said in New Hampshire at a campaign event. "But we don’t think of it that way. Anybody who can throw coal into furnace can learn how to program, for God’s sake."

I guess Biden didn’t learn anything from Hillary Clinton’s blunder from the past Presidential election. She told the West Virginia voters that their coal producing jobs were going away. If she would have kept her mouth shut she might have won that states electoral votes.
