Could be a lot better but there's something else to blame DT for. And Putin.

Instead we're doing this.

Nothing more can be blamed Trump or Putin, I think they about covered all the bases over the last few years, unless we see another engineered crisis or botched kidnapping that could squeeze the turnip for another drop of blood...

First time ever in my life I'm taking Elon Musk's advice and voting 100% republican, the government needs balance and since few people vote Libertarian, looks like what's needed are more senators and representatives from the right to keep the left in check, leaving enough leftists in Congress to keep the right in check...

My wife was a lifelong Upper East Side Liberal from a family of them. She won't admit to them she voted 100% Republican across the board and NO to several propositions that have racial preference quietly baked into them. A woman who suffered bussing in her youth is entitle to say no to that I'd think. I always voted conservative but never affiliated myself with any party but did the same thing for similar reasons - enough of this BS. If they win we'll get new BS based on other BS, but hopefully our life savings won't continue to evaporate while we're talking about gender identity and being overrun by asylum seekers. I wish you could see what I see each and every morning starting at 0600.

Biden FINALLY concedes it'll be tough for Democrats to win the House as Dem turn on him and call for new leadership in 2024 as they brace for RED WAVE

President Joe Biden, who had been sounding an optimistic note about the midterms, finally conceded Monday night that it'll be 'tougher' for his party to win the House as polls point to a Republican victory. Biden's comments come as his approval rating dropped down to 39%. His low numbers and fears of a red wave coming out of Tuesday's election has some in the Democratic Party calling for a 'next generation candidate' to run for the White House in 2024. 'I think we'll win the Senate. I think the House is tougher,' the president told reporters at the White House after he returned from his final campaign rally, where he pleaded with voters to send more Democrats to Congress.

I'm 44 years old and I don't remember polling places ever being this crowded. We can vote at any polling place in the county, and I skipped two that had lines wrapped around the building and lines of cars at a standstill just trying to find a parking space. Finally found one that is way out in the country, and the line is just into the parking lot but not around the building.

The Republicans have a a MASSIVE opportunity in front of them. I fear that, like the Dems in 2020, they will let the lunatics gain control of the asylum and create a blue wave in 2024 gift wrapped for Grouchy Joe and Clueless Kamala.

Finished voting, I'm center/right in my political views and usually my voting reflects that with many choices being libertarian and republican and sometimes choosing moderate democrats in the past...Not this time however, as mentioned above, I voted one hundred percent republican on this day...Enough of the BS...

Voting machines down in entire NJ county, officials say

Voting machines went down in Mercer County, New Jersey on Tuesday morning as voters arrived to cast their ballots in the midterm elections.

Election officials told News12 New Jersey that a software issue caused problems in voting machines countywide. The company that runs the machines are currently working on the issue, officials said. In the meantime, voters will be required to cast paper ballots that will be hand tabulated, according to News12.

Maricopa County, Arizona also had issues with voting machines on Tuesday morning. A video circulating on Twitter showed a man who appeared to be a county election worker advising dozens of voters waiting in line that their vote tabulation machines are not working.

“We have two tabulators,” the apparent poll worker said in the video. “One of the tabulators is not working, okay. The other tabulator is taking about 75 percent successful, so 25 percent of them are being misread. And it could be a printer issue or it could be the tabulator itself.”

The apparent poll worker then said voters waiting in line have the option to either put their ballots into “what’s called Box 3, and it gets read whether it goes downtown and gets read manually or whether it gets re-fed into our tabulator. They will get read.”

As the poll worker talked, a man in the background could be heard saying, “we don’t want to adjudicate, no.” The poll worker then said, while laughing, that “no one is trying to deceive anybody.”

“Of course not, not on election day,” a man in the background said. “That would never happen.”

Ron DeSantis WINS reelection in decisive victory over Charlie Crist: Florida Governor and potential 2024 nominee sweeps Democrat stronghold Miami by NINE POINTS in first Republican win in county in 20 years

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis won reelection on Tuesday night, with a commanding performance in Miami-Dade county, in a sign that Democrats can no long rely on the city as a blue stronghold. The Associated Press called the race for DeSantis a little after 8pm. But it will be the nature of his win that will excite supporters with one eye on the White House. A Republican win in Miami would have been unthinkable just six years ago when Hillary Clinton took it by 23 points in her unsuccessful run for the presidency. Joe Biden won it by seven points over Donald Trump in 2020. Yet with 77 percent of its votes counted, DeSantis had a clear advantage of nine points over Democrat Charlie Crist. The statistic brought an audible gasp from panelists on MSNBC when it was revealed. DeSantis has taken on a national profile in the past two years, opening up his state earlier than others during the COVID-19 pandemic and adopting a central role in the nation's culture wars.

Here in Pennsylvania there were two main races, the Governors race and the race for one Senate seat. The Republican Mastriano was the Republican candidate for Governor. Mastriano lost the the Democrats Shapiro. Mastriano was just the the right of Attila the Hun. He wasn’t expected to win and he didn’t.

Fetterman the Democratic Lt. Governor had a healthy lead over Dr. Oz. The initial knock on Oz is that he had nine residences, just none in Pennsylvania. He was using his in-laws home to claim that he lived in PA. Fetterman had a ten point lead before he had a stroke. Bad timing. Fetterman did hang on to defeat Dr. Oz.

With problems like inflation and employment some of these politicians stated that abortion was their number one priority. I wonder who their advisors were.

looking more like a red gurgle so far

In North Carolina the GOP got the only open Senate seat and they got half of the 14 House seats that were open...We have a democrat governor however he seems to be fairly moderate for the most part, his term is up in 2024...

Both political parties need to take a close look at how they ran their election campaigns. This was the best position for the Republicans to make a sweep. You have to say they whiffed on their goals. If the Democrats want to be a viable party they need to move off this “woke” nonsense.

This 1000%. Both of them are pretty far out of touch with reality. The woke Democrats and Trump at any cost Republicans are both really bad for our country. Mebbe in this Congress, they will actually work on the immediate problems that everyone faces. I can dream, can't I?

Sigh. I predict Hillary will run and win as long as Trump’s still breathing. He’s going to run again and lose again

Last night was the final nail in Trump's political coffin - because too many of his suck-up duds lost an unlosable election. Now is the moment for DeSantis to take charge of the ship

The 'red wave' was a mirage and nothing of the 'historic win' Republicans were anticipating. Nothing. This will go down as a giant warning sign and, hopefully, a convincing argument against the delusion that President Donald Trump is the future of the GOP. Too many Republicans lost in an unloseable election last night, and they have no one to blame but themselves. Trump's influence in selecting and endorsing candidates is undeniable. And those candidates did not deliver. Trump's MAGA is cancer and it is killing my party. And this should be the final nail in his coffin. President Trump is no kingmaker, in fact, he is the opposite. He seems to have a knack for picking losing candidates.

I don't often agree with her, but Trump is too damned egotistical. He places his own image over and above the interests of the people and the party he claims to hold dear. If he somehow has a change of heart he will

(1) affirm definitively that he will not be running for office again, and
(2) drop out of sight, making himself a difficult political target.

Unfortunately, he may choose instead to somehow spin the results, maybe even put forward a new conpiracy theory.
