Amazing! It's hard to believe he's not trolling.
Trust me, No matter what anyone thinks, The limelight affects everyone it touches. A whole lot of this Was for the show of it, I mean, consider for a moment. The man had that show, being in the spotlight meant everything to him,

Like some people do in Fame, he sold out to his lowest common denominator, Those things that brought in views, In many cases it turns people into "Shock Jockies" Anything for views. Alex Jones is a symptom, of a sick society. Fame can make people do crazy things, Check out what Alex Did as his Career was circling the drain,

His anything for views persona, Almost lead him into a fistfight with a government official. All sanity had left the man by that point.

Anyway, I am right wing Conservative and Even i do not believe a third of the stuff Alex Jones say's but then again i do not believe Anything any news outlet say's. They all are biased one way or another. Even get facts wrong. I blame this due to sloppy written Reports and Opinion Piece's.

Alex Jones admits he does not know when Sandy Hook happened and says he can't remember everything he said about the massacre being a hoax but insists he feels 'very sad' for the victims' parents during his three-hour deposition
  • Jones was deposed for three hours earlier this month by lawyers working behalf of 10 families of Sandy Hook victims
  • They say he defamed them and caused them emotional distress by saying the massacre was a hoax
  • The InfoWars host has now accepted that Sanduy Hook did happen but says he was right to question it
  • He admitted his sources were not accurate and many were anonymous
  • Jones, despite his many remarks on the subject, could not recall the date it happened
  • One of the parents suing him killed himself earlier this month

What's sad is, As a person who has been a personality for a small crowd, people must know the Real Alex Jones isn't anything like what we see on the air. He's a shock Jockey, He was entertaining to crowds that absorbed his take on extreme right-wing philosophy. The guy that goes home to his family the person that sits at the dinner table is nothing like this, I can promise that. No one is the same on the air as they are off the air... Especially a Shock Jockey. He's been putting on a show for years and any publicity is still publicity. I can prove this. A man stupid enough to exasperate himself on air about the government turning the frogs Gay. That's a person who is in the game for the views for the ratings and the clicks and money.

Sure, He will do whatever he has to to get that attention, But people mustn't think he's stupid, The man knew what to say to what crowd and how to say it to become extremely recognized and wealthy. He did it all for the money, as every shock jockey ever has. And let us be real, If someone pays me a boatload of ad revenue, I'll say anything in any way they need me to so I can make that next mortgage payment. I think any of us would.

How could a man so dimwitted as Alex Jones pretends to be become so wealthy and recognized? That's not stupidity That pays his bills. That's knowing how to entertain a demographic.

Despite the fact that most people in 'ufology' aren't making big money it's something similar. A personality with a message that they have figured out gets them attention - and how much of that they actually believe themselves is debatable. They get the attention of those with a sympathetic ear and never need to actually prosthelytize anyone.

This is pretty much what I am afraid of with TTSA. Not wanting to hijack this thread though so maybe we can comment on that in the other threads about it.

I remember we used to have a member at AH, Her name was Samantha Stone, She would make these obviously fake videos and would post them about her "New" experiences, She posted several of these, I don't remember what happened to her. My assumption is one of the wolves ate her. But, You make a good point about ufology, as with a lot of followings with large masses of people, A good way to tell if someone is genuine in their resolution about extraterrestrial life,

I have found, The nonbelievers always have the most fantastic stories and they tell them at every opportunity one hundred times out of one hundred if someone is telling you a story about how they have seen aliens, And they have seen them "Soo Many times over the years" Be skeptical of that individual, We must stop and question the rationality of the issue, Asking ourselves so what makes said individual so indispensable to an advanced extraterrestrial species?

One encounter, Or two, I can entertain that, But when people hit Billy Meier proportions, I'd lay money on the table those people aren't just faking, They are taking other people for a ride brother.

Well, he seems to be dimwitted enough to not see he was pushing the envelope too far, if it's all as you said, a bit of acting...If he didn't believe his own propaganda and it was an act for attention and money, he is a fool for not knowing when to stop...

it's kind of like a Diva thing <-- Diva the definition, not the person. It's not that believes his own hype, it's that he built a career out of pushing that envelope, and now in financial stress and desperation, He's just blindly pushing envelopes, hoping something will get a rise out of people.
The man may not be what I would call stupid, But Unstable, Oh most certainly bro.

Conspiracy theorist Infowars host Alex Jones sent families of Sandy Hook victims files that contained child porn, lawyer claims

Lawyers for the families of children and adults killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School disclosed Monday that child pornography was found in electronic files sent to them by conspiracy theorist Infowars host Alex Jones.

The pornography was found in email metadata files Jones' attorneys turned over to the families' lawyers as part of the discovery process of a defamation lawsuit, which was filed in a Connecticut court last year in response to discussions on Jones' show about the school shooting being a hoax.

Jones' attorney, Norman Pattis, said the child pornography was in emails sent to Jones that were never opened and he denied Jones did anything wrong. Pattis said federal authorities are investigating who sent the emails.

Appearing angry on his web show based in Austin, Texas, Jones accused one of the families' lawyers, Christopher Mattei, of planting the child pornography in the files in an effort to frame Jones. He also offered a $1 million reward for information on who sent the emails containing child porn.

He's sorta crazy. But would Jones have actually done that considering the obvious consequences?
