I don't think I knew about this before. It lasted two seasons; not so bad.

I really don't follow all the superhero stuff - even as a kid it wasn't my interest. But I caught the end of Avengers Endgame the other night just idly surfing and it certainly looked cool on the new wall o' tv we got.

When Star Wars first came out I took my grandmother to see it and she said she 'just didn't get it.' Never understood that.

    Until now.

Weatherman : It's gonna be a gorgeous spring day in the nation's heartland, with temperatures reaching the high seventies. So all you folks in Smallville, Kansas, get out there and enjoy that great, big, beautiful sun.
[cut to Kara flying through the sky, until Clark pulls her down to the ground]

To add to the flavor, Ed Asner voices Granny Goodness.

Impressive disparity between Critics and fan ratings on Rotten Tomatoes.
The critics are either phony baloneys, or ideologues, or both.

Its also impressive that the show lasted 3 seasons given the poor ratings and lack of any true following...

So far the DC animated movies and television hasn't succumbed to the wokeness plague yet, hope it stays that way too...DC has some great animation entertainment, they would be making billions if they took those animated movie stories and make a live action version...Just about every one of them would be a hit as live action films as long as they were done professionally and didn't change the stories or make them too woke...

You won't believe who the main villain is for the new Doctor Strange movie...

That statement can be taken positively with excitement or negatively with disappointment, or I guess it could also be taken indifferent...

I just found out. It doesn't automatically bother me. You are probably aware that that character originally started out as a 'villain' long, long ago. It also doesn't surprise me much as that miniseries was probably intended as the set-up all along.

It kind of bothers me some because I also heard the motivations of the villain for what takes place in the movie, sigh...However I did not watch any of that miniseries and only heard some details via word of mouth from others...

There were a few other details of this Doctor Strange movie that i recently heard about besides the villain...At least I'll be prepared and not disappointed as I'm planning to take my nephew to watch it on Saturday in the theater...

Although I do have reservations, I am also somewhat curious because
Supposedly has elements of horror. The director has a lot of experience with that genre.

If you decide to belatedly watch it ahead of the movie, you should know that it could be considered almost as a two-parter. The first half is campy and charming. But after that, it gets progressively more serious and darker.

    Tis true, there is that...:smile8:

One thing I heard, well, actually two sort of, first is that much of the film was a reshoot and it shows...Second, the movie tries to continue from the events of Endgame, Wandavision, and No Way Home all together and the scripting fell apart because of that, hence the extensive reshooting...

    But...

While I'm disappointed with the motivations given to the main villian, I mean, come on, of all things, I'm still looking forward to seeing it in the theater...It may be a while before I visit the theater again, who knows...

Not sure if I will watch any of that Wandavision series, if I do it may be only the second half...I haven't watched any Loki, nor Falcon and Winter Soldier either...
